I got these in the patent red color in a size 9 and they are GORGEOUS. The pictures do not do the color justice at all. It’s a perfect bright candy red. For the initial try on they are very comfortable (but I will update after I wear them out). There is a firm but foamy type of cushion inside the shoe that definitely adds to the comfortability. They fit perfectly for an American women’s size 9 and I’m glad I didn’t size up or down for these. Without anything underneath, there is a little bit of wiggle room and small gap at the back of the heel that I assume with make a perfect fit for my fleece lined tights this winter, though I would rather this gap be there than not so it won’t be rubbing on my heels while I’m not wearing tights. From the floor to the base of the heel, they are just under 3.5 inches, which is a little shorter than I expected but they look amazing. The only red flag I see here is the sole of the right shoe, it looks like it was glued in there and there is dried glue smeared around it (hard to see in the picture but I tried). Ultimately, this doesn’t make much of a difference in the look of the shoe but I can feel some of the dried glue under my foot which was a little bit alarming when I first put them on. ... show more

These shoes are beautiful but they hurt really bad I couldn’t even walk on the carpet when trying them on they hurt so bad. Then I had to wait about a month to get my money back. Not easy to return

When I found these in "Used - Good" condition for $35.25, I was so excited. I really wanted to try (and like) the D'Orsay style. But they're just not as sexy as they seem. After all, it's impossible to feel sexy when you're in terrible pain. I ordered and received a Size 11, but these feel closer to a Size 10. They're unusually short and your toes will be crushed. This seems to be a problem common to JS pumps. If you really want to try these out, I recommend ordering 1.0 or even 1.5 sizes up, and also Wide, if available.
