    • Modded 6.5 hp engine broke it
I had bought one of these chains a while back for my go kart. It’s got a predator 212cc 6.5hp engine on it and it’s been modded. Running around 9 horses now. I put a torque converter on it and needed another chain because I made the other one too small. I got this chain today and used a chain breaker to size it up like usual. Took the kart out and oh man is it fast. The chain lasted not even 5 mins before the torque bent the master link and sent it flying. I’d post a picture of it but I’ve already lost it since it’s of no use to me. I have another master link from the last chain I ordered from these people. Personally think it may have been a design flaw or something in that 1 master link because I just don’t see a 212cc motor with a torque converter bending a brand new #40 chain that easily. I’d probably order from these people for a 3rd time though since the first chain lasted over a year before I replaced it. ... show more
