I got this in about a week ago took and about 3 days from date of order to get it in. But I had to wait for a pretty day to install! It took maybe a total of 15 mins and most of that was just looking for my screw driver and reading over instructions. The only tools you will need is a screw driver and maybe a flat head. I have included before, during and after photos of install. You will need to save the gas tank screw on and that just pops right off the old and onto the new one. Then you have to take off tail light in order to access the tabs that you need to release from the old fuel cap, and in order to do proper install of the new rubber ring around fuel cap. I just put my tail light aside, but you can disconnect and move it out of the way. I Included a photo of inside behind the tail light and you will look for the tabs to press in with a flat head screw driver. I could only reach two tabs out of the four (two on other side) So I had to kind of pull and push until i was able to get the old cap out. That is probably the hardest part of the entire install. You take 4 out of the six screws off and remove the fuel cover from the part that is to be inserted back into opening. Once that is done your able to put the new rubber ring in the new fuel cap hole, and be sure the gas tank opening is snuggly wrapped with the rubber ring. The last part is screwing the aluminum cover back to the rest of the fuel cap. This is such an easy install to do and the instructions included give you a general idea of how you install. Over all I think Sunny D is sporting her new Fuel Tank Cap perfectly and I highly recommend getting this if your looking for a easy mod that will give your Jeep a new look! ... show more

I ordered red. I spray painted it with metallic red spray paint and glitter red spray paint was really easy to install for reference. I have a Jeep Wrangler 2018 JK.

Very high-quality product. Took about 45 minutes to install. The alignment pin may be in the incorrect location, depending on the Wrangler model; for example, on a 2016 Jeep Wrangler two-door JK, the alignment pin is at the top on the Jeep but on this product the alignment pin is on the left. I was still able to successfully install the product, I just had to clip off and file down the alignment pin that was in the incorrect location. I recommend taking off the metal door portion of the product when installing it; then you will have an easier time pressing the rubber gasket around the fuel filler. You can easily reattach the metal door after installing the plastic surround. The product fits perfectly. The included rubber gasket seals around the fuel filler perfectly too. The product looked nice when I removed it from the box. Although it is a simple product to install it would have been nice to have some instructions explaining how to install. The gas cap cover has plastic clips that hold it in place. You have only one chance to install it - that's it. Don't do what I did and try to see how it looks before making a commitment to do the final install. Also, there's a small plastic piece about a quarter inch long on the side with the door hinge, but there's no hole on my Jeep to place the piece into. When I finally removed the accessary, I cut off the plastic piece. Then, I started to do the final install with the rubber piece around the gas cap and the door broke off in my hands. Also, when I removed the accessory after trying to fit it before the final install I'd already damaged the plastic clips that hold it in place. Live and learn. I bought this several months ago. Before I installed it, I had an unexpected surgery on my foot that delayed the installation. I'm past the date you can return it. So, I am going to order another accessory, but I think I'll try a different manufacturer. This time I'll do a one-time install without seeing how it looks before the final install. ... show more
