I am super particular about journals. I'm a perfectionist and that weird hyper-organized person weirdo that enjoys making labels. I looked at many dozens of journals on all ranges of prices. I like none of the ones on the typical notary websites, and they're generally overpriced IMO, but at least high quality. I looked at sooo many notary journals and finally was set for one that ticked most of my boxes. At the last moment, amazon recommended this one. I haven't seen any quite like it. The magnetic flap is unique, stylish, and the most ideal solution for privacy. The price was fantastic. The quality is even better in person. I had high expectations of this book, and it exceeded them. I love everything about it. Thick paper, ribbon bookmark, pen holder, pocket, the exact cross page layout I wanted (for privacy and plentiful space for notes), AND the perfect privacy guard sheet designed specifically for this book with coordinating entry markers. If the style meets your notary needs, then don't hesitate. It's a gorgeous book and you'll love it. Am I maybe a little too enthusiastic about this journal? Yeah. But this is a real review with no incentive for a really great product that deserves to sell when so many items we buy turn out to have poor quality. Love this journal. My only concern was if there would be enough room for the signer. It's doable but I wish there was a little more space. Other than that I love there's a pen loop inside. There's also a back pocket and it feels so soft and pretty. Yayyy! Came on time, I was almost on my last page of my old journal. This is a surprisingly lovely journal log book. As a nearly commissioned notary, and someone who cares about style, I wanted something that looked and felt quality. While I wish the lettering on the flap wasn't there at all, I'm fine with it. But the material on the case is lovely! I got the gray and it looks and feels like suede. I can't attest to how it will hold up over time (or whether it will get dirty) but I love it! And the pages seem to contain everything I will possibly need when doing notary assignments. Purchased this notary journal as a replacement to another one I had purchased from a different vendor that turned out super defective. This journal deserves A+++ status! It is beautifully packaged, the construction is incredibly sturdy, the cover/flap is magnetic that closes softly but really secure, the space in each line is really comfortable to write in, and it comes with a privacy cover.. I purchased the pink to go with my branding and I am so happy with the way it looks! I cannot recommend this product enough.
