I wear a 10w or 10ww in about half of the shoes I try that come in a w or ww. Sometimes I need a 10.5 w, but they are hard to come by, so then I end up in an 11w. I decided to try the 10 because it also had a wide toe box. Together, I was hopeful that this would be perfect. They arrived today and I eagerly put them on. My left foot is longer, by a bit, than my right, so I put that on first. 1. Toe box is indeed nicely wide. 2. The shoe itself is nicely wide - since I sometimes need a ww and don't in this, I would say most people who need a wide would be find in this. 3. the instep is about normal. I have a high instep, which is why I usually need a double wide, as the instep/arch takes up quite a bit of volume. On this shoe, the instep is snug, fitting well. Not too snug, but definitely not loose. If you have both a wide foot AND a high instep, your results may vary. 4. My longest toe is at the very end of the shoe. It isn't quite jammed, but I don't think I could wear these with socks or they would be too short. 5. The insert is nicely spongey when you walk - lots of cushioning. I haven't had plantar fasciitis in a long time, but if I did, these would be very nice in that regard. There is no arch support in the insert, however. I honestly don't like arch support as with my high arches, I don't need it and it often doesn't fit correctly against my arch. If you need arch support, you might want a different insert. The insert is also quite thick. If you need more room or have an orthotic, this shoe would likely work well for you. All in all, given how hard it is for me to find shoes, these are decent. My only caveat to anyone is that if you are sometimes between sizes, size up.

These are very comfortable. That is all l will give them they are not stitched they are glooed and after only 3 months of wear the glue left loose all around the toe area. A waist of money.

I was really excited about these for work, especially with the wide toe box. I work in a hospital and am often up on my feet throughout my 12 hour shift. I wore these for the two day shifts and both days I came home with achy feet. More so than I usually do in my work shoes from the past. My ankles felt terrible afterwards which is new. While it's a nice looking shoe, I don't think it's a good show for anyone that is up on their feet for long periods of time.
