    • Good case, bad screen protector
Size: Google Pixel 7a Color: Black Matte
I've had this case for a couple of weeks now, and so far it seems to be solid enough that it should do its intended purpose. I haven't dropped my phone yet, though, so I can't truly attest to its disability currently. Installation was very easy, and I like the ring on the back that helps you hold your phone more securely and also doubles as a kickstand. The case is a good thickness, as well, and doesn't add much weight to the phone. You are able to easily access your full screen as well, without the case's bevel being a hindrance to the sides of your screen. The side buttons are solid and have a tactile click to them, so you know it's pressed properly. It makes for them being SLIGHTLY more difficult to press than without the case, but not accordingly so. It actually makes it harder for it to sustain accidental button presses. The charging port has easy access to even moderately larger-sized charging cable ends, which is something that is usually an issue with other cases for me. Not all charging cables are made the same, and I haven't had any problems with using any of them with this case so far. The screen protector included, however, is cheap garbage, apparently. It went on the same as any other that I've used, and it was easy to apply with minimal bubbling on the first try, without reapplication. Cut to three days later: I haven't dropped my phone AT ALL yet, as previously mentioned. My phone was as brand new as this case, as I ordered them together. Everything was fine with my phone before I left for work, and I only had it in my pocket (which isn't tight, and I keep nothing else in it), or the passenger seat next to me while driving. It wasn't dropped, and nothing was dropped or even set on it. It didn't leave my sight or awareness, for even a second. I got to work and it was fine... until about 20 minutes into my show, when I noticed something small that I thought was a residue or something. I tried to wipe it off, only to notice that it looked like a small impact crack, with two crack lines spreading out like a V across my screen horizontally. I have no explanation for how this happened other than quality of the product, since my phone sustained no damage at any time, and I also saw one other review where someone had a similar issue with it cracking for no reason at all. Other than that, the screen protectors fit my phone perfectly and work very well with the case itself. Case is nice and sturdy. I like the ring in the back serves as a double. You can put your finger through it and hold your phone or you can use it as a stand. Glass was perfect. Went on 123, no bubbles. Very good. Very happy

Decent case and screen protector but I wish the lip around the camera was but more snug and taller since it's almost flush with the lens protector on. I'm giving it a 3/5 because the first time I removed it to clean my phone the back of the case cracked from the center of the lens lip to about the area where the volume buttons are its not big and not falling apart but Ill still mention it. ... show more

Phone case look and feels great. Unfortunately, the screen protector that came with the case did not allow my screen to work properly. Once I installed the screen protector, the phone kept saying the screen was cracked and the thumbprint would not work. Looked like a great quality screen protector as well so not sure why it did that. Phone case and camera protection is great though.
