These "JAM Paper #10 Commercial Window Envelopes - 4 1/8" x 9 1/2" - White - 25/pack" are true to size and color as written in their description. The pack of 25 envelopes came shrink-wrapped in clear plastic, and arrived quickly, as fulfilled by Amazon, with free 2-day shipping, undamaged in a manila envelope that was stuffed into my little apartment building mailbox, costing the decent Amazon Prime price of $4.49 (not including tax). (And believe me, I searched for a cheaper cost on Amazon and other websites, and these were the best windowed-envelopes priced with the quickest delivery that I could find.) They are GUM closure envelopes, meaning that you need to lick/apply moisture to the envelope in order to seal it; they do not have the adhesive strip for easy closure. I bought these envelopes because I currently have to send out self-printed invoices. And although I wanted a decent quality envelope, I also didn't want to pay an arm an a leg. I also didn't want to buy a bulk quantity of 50 or 100 (or more) envelopes because I don't believe I need that amount at the moment. Because I have self-designed/printed invoices, I needed to know how big the window opening was and the measurement of the window from the edges of the envelope in order to format my invoices correctly. At the time this review was written, this information was not included in the product description, so I had to look up the information myself. (The jampaper.com website - makers/sellers of these envelopes - don't have this information available on their website either, although they DO sell these envelopes in number of vibrant colors, FYI. After doing some searching, based on the dimensions of the envelope, I decided on a measurement that I came across that turned out to be correct.) The measurements and placement of the see-thru window, which has rounded corners, in the lower left corner of the envelopes are as follows - Distance from Left Edge of envelope to Left Side of Window: 7/8" Distance from Bottom Edge of envelope to Bottom of Window: 1/2" Height of Window (from Top of Window to Bottom of Window): 1-1/8" Length of Window (from Left Side of Window to Right Side of Window): 4-1/2" I've purchased JAM paper products before, and from my experience, the company manufactures very decent quality paper products and provides a very large selection of standard and hard-to-find paper and envelope sizes, styles, and colors. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase of this product as it serves my purpose as desired and the cost was to my liking. I hope that if I need to add to my current windowed-envelope stock, this listing will still be available at the same price (or less!) that I paid for today.

Am very pleased to find these #10 envelopes that aren't nearly as flimsy as most these days! They have a nice matte finish, feel good in my hands. I wasn't looking for something fancy (like a linen finish). And I don't run envelopes through a printer; I handwrite the addresses. I'm also NOT a fan of self-stick envelopes, & gummed ones can be hard to find. I just wanted #10s that I could use for a variety of uses--business & personal--that weren't so thin & cheap feeling. The 50 pack size is perfect for my needs. I recommend these envelopes to others who are looking for a better general #10 envelope!

These envelopes are described as 28 lb. but on delivery the packaging does not give the weight. Customers should not have to contact the manufacturer to get confirmation that the product delivered is the same as the product purchased. The manufacturer assured us that these envelopes were 28 lb. We should have checked the prior negative reviews. Others have complained about the reduced weight and quality of these envelopes. Will not order anything from JAM in the future.

These are a perfect size if you need to send a legal envelope inside it. About 3/8โ larger height and width of a standard #10 legal. The adhesive is not too great. Youโll want to tape it shut to make sure it makes it there. But thatโs not a deal breaker for me.

I was looking for business envelopes big enough to hold an insert that was 4 1/4 inches tall . These envelopes worked perfectly. I also wanted one that did not have a window. Again, this fit the bill. I wish it had a self stick closure, but the adhesive worked fine. The paper weight was nicer than I expected. Price definitely better than Staples, and delivery was within 3 days.
