The skates are beautiful and they run big...order atleast one size down. The biggest issues is the pair I got are defective. I stoppers are aligned down evenly with the wheels, which caused me to fall, the stoppers hit the floor every time I switched sides to glide. I will be returning.

Made cheap in my opinion. I’m a beginner and the should have not happened. They work but don’t hold up well. I have used them twice and I ordered them 8/9/2022 and look at this!!! They give the look but the quality thumbs down

So apparently I’m the first to review these skates because they’ve only been on here a little over a month. I was concerned when I purchased them that there were no reviews because they weren’t any good, but that is absolutely not the case. A little about us: I ordered a size 6 for my 11 year old daughter. A size 6 skate size (for these) is the equivalent of a women’s shoe size 7, and my petite daughter is nowhere near a size 7 in women’s, but size 6 skate size was the smallest available in this color, and we wanted matching skates. She is able to tighten the laces enough, and she says she can’t even tell that they aren’t exactly her size. I ordered a size 7 skate size for myself, which is the equivalent to a size 8 women’s shoe size, and these are true to size. My daughter had been asking for roller skates for a while to really learn to skate. I’m 43 years old and loving that skating has made a comeback since some of my best childhood/adolescent memories from the 80’s/90’s are when I had a pair of skates on. Granted, the last time I actually skated was about 8 years ago, but we made it out to a nearby skating rink last night to really break these in after practicing a bit in our kitchen. While the color isn’t exactly as the pictures (not quite as dark, more of a silver/mauve iridescent color) these skates are beautiful and very comfortable. We tried some others before these, and my feet arches were in major pain just from practicing in the kitchen. We aren’t pros and don’t expect to ever do fancy tricks or high speed skating in these, so these suit our casual skating needs just fine. We plan to try them out outdoors too, and I will update this review as we use them more and more, but so far so good. Very happy with our purchase!
