After one 30 minute skating session, one of the metal lace grommets popped off. The skates seem comfortable and definitely lighter weight than rentals, but lacing is such an important part of skating that we are disappointed in the durability. Also had an issue with the seller not honoring this as a warranty repair and offering to take it back with the manufacturer. Manufacturer warranty is 6 months and states to contact the seller... disappointing and frustrating. Amazon also won't stand behind this from a customer perspective, which is lame.

My 8 year old son has been taking ice skating lessons for about a year and a half (minus 8 months break of covid). He has always used the rental skates. We recently purchased these skates for better comfort and also better ankle control. For a beginner, these are perfect. They are snug but not uncomfortable. My son has never complained about them being too tight or hurting in any spots. The first day he put them on, he said they were very comfortable. They are also easy to get on and lace up. The laces are thick and sturdy and a perfect length to double knot. He can get the tongue in easily and then lace them himself. They are supposedly sharpened. however, they definitely needed to be sharpened upon arrival.

Awesome skates! I’m glad I read what one of the reviewers mentioned about the misleading sizes listed. It’s a little confusing to list a Women’s size 11 AND Adult size 11. My instinct would have been to order the Women’s 11, but another reviewer did that and received children’s skates. She had to send them back and order the Adult 11. I’m so glad I read that review because the Adult 11 fit perfect! They have great ankle support and have a nice fleece lining. I received multiple compliments on the fact that they are black....the design is hip, but not loud. Great buy!

I ordered these iceskates because I thought the padded lining would improve the comfort and fit, however ended up returning them because there was very little flexibility at the ankle. Unfortunately it was not possible for me to squat down. I am not an advanced skater, but do like to do some tricks of moderate difficulty. They were comfortable, and the size was accurate, but I could tell that the limitations on foot and ankle movement were going to prevent me from moving freely on the ice, even doing basic skating.

Wonderfully packaged with manufacturer’s blade covers. They were indeed shipped sharpened, but I had access to a tech at the rink who was pleased to sharpen them further for me. He was impressed with these skates. Lacing them was a breeze! Everyone commented on the snazzy blue color which is fun, but comfort and supreme ankle support was a priority. I’m 58 and measure 9 1/2...prefer a wide shoe, but the 10’s felt made just for me without a bulky sock. So warm! The perfect upgrade from my former skates!

Let me start by saying if you order WOMENS size 11 you will get TODDLER size skates, not womens size. Order ADULT. I got toddler size skates TWICE when choosing the womens size 11 option. Decided to try one more time with adult size 11 and got the correct size. The skates themselves are very well made, comfy, warm, and are great on ice. I just use them recreationally for skating with my kids. Love the skates, frustrated by the inaccurate size options.
