Let me start by saying if you order WOMENS size 11 you will get TODDLER size skates, not womens size. Order ADULT. I got toddler size skates TWICE when choosing the womens size 11 option. Decided to try one more time with adult size 11 and got the correct size. The skates themselves are very well made, comfy, warm, and are great on ice. My 8 year old son has been taking ice skating lessons for about a year and a half (minus 8 months break of covid). He has always used the rental skates. We recently purchased these skates for better comfort and also better ankle control. For a beginner, these are perfect. They are snug but not uncomfortable. My son has never complained about them being too tight or hurting in any spots. The first day he put them on, he said they were very comfortable. They are also easy to get on and lace up. The laces are thick and sturdy and a perfect length to double knot. He can get the tongue in easily and then lace them himself. They are supposedly sharpened. however, they definitely needed to be sharpened upon arrival. ... show more

Awesome skates! I’m glad I read what one of the reviewers mentioned about the misleading sizes listed. It’s a little confusing to list a Women’s size 11 AND Adult size 11. My instinct would have been to order the Women’s 11, but another reviewer did that and received children’s skates. She had to send them back and order the Adult 11. I’m so glad I read that review because the Adult 11 fit perfect! They have great ankle support and have a nice fleece lining. I received multiple compliments on the fact that they are black....the design is hip, but not loud. Great buy! ... show more

My daughter loved these skates. They are canvas and not leather which I didn’t realize when I bought them, but it is better bc probably more comfortable. She has a wide foot so we had the get them stretched at the skate shop....but plenty of room in the length. The size in right. She wear size 13 toddler...so we sized up to Youth size 1 which will give her time to grow with these. The colors are perfect for little girls. I would recommend and buy them again. ... show more

Great skates for my 8 year old. She had some experience in figure skates and these were great. True to size compared to rental skates, but up one size from her shoes. Rigid uppers are good for keeping her ankles from buckling.
