I used to be a figure skater many many years ago and wanted to get back into it. these offer affordable pricing for recreational figure skating. I would however advise professional foot measuring by someone that's familiar with this particular skate.

    • Perfect Fit
These fit like a glove. Remember to heat mold them to your feet. If you're not sure about the size, get measured. It's VERY important that your skates fit well to avoid injuring your feet.

    • Blades fully mounted and CROOKED. Came fully mounted with 14 screws in each blad.

Skates arrived with 14 screws in each blade, not the 4 shown in the photos. This is compounded by the fact that the blades are not mounted symmetrically with each other. The front of the blades are in the same area on each boot but the back is centered on one boot and on the inside edge of the other, which will cause imbalances while skating unless I just so happen to need that blade alignment, which I never have, so I doubt. Frustrating for a pair of skates that, while discounted due to the lower tier of blade (these come with the Mark II), is NOT cheap by any means. The cost and effort of trying to plug the soles and get the lower quality blade mounted correctly will make any savings negligible in the long run. ... show more

    • Good to go skates at a good price if you don't need to modify your blades.
Glad to get these new Jacksons. I did the thermoforming As per online and it really helps a lot, very comfortable. The only thing that was disturbing is that the skates were not sharpened all the way to the toe pick area. I don't think it really matters, but I've never had blades sharpened that did not go all the way to the toe pick or very close to it. Also the blades were attached straight down the boot so I have to remove one of the blades fill all the screw holes then realign for my pronate offset. Perhaps it would be a good idea if you could when requesting the boot ask them to just put in the adjustment and alignment screws. All in all good skates for a good price. ... show more
