I was able to purchase the purple color in like-new condition. They were actually brand new and the wheels had no wear. These are my first new skates in over 20 years and the quality is outstanding! The tops are supportive but not overly stiff, and the wheels roll smoothly to the point that despite a few wobbles, my first time I wore them I was off and rolling with no trouble. I am so happy with my new skates and highly recommend them. If you are new or back to skating, be sure to wear full safety gear - helmet, knee, elbow, wrist, and butt protection - and watch beginner videos on You Tube because they are NO joke. I was a little worried about the fit, but I measured my foot as outlined by the manufacturer and they are the perfect size. Beautiful color (lilac), the wheels are perfect for outdoors. The material seems stiff, but I believe they will loosen up enough. I definitely recommend these skates.***UPDATE*** I had to return because one wheel was sticking causing me to fall. I have been skating since I was 4yo, I don't fall... Back they go... Then I read on the box they are made with CANCER CAUSING MATERIALS. YIKES!! ... show more

Fantastic! Comfortable yet study around the ankles. Wheels are flexible on rough concrete but so smooth on rink floor. So glad i went with these for my first skate even though they were more expensive than the academy option!

I love these skates!!! Great quality, stunning colors! Really soft insides! MOST IMPORTANT: THEY ARE TRUE TO SIZE! I’m a size 9 in vans so I ordered a size 9 and they fit like a glove! Don’t do any of their sizing charts, they are true to size! You’re a 9 get a 9, if your a half size go up one (9.5 go to a 10). Great skates love them! ... show more

The skates are a lovely color, and the wheels are perfect for outdoor skating. The wheels are soft enough to go over rocks and cracks. The ankle portion of the skate is high enough to provide stability when leaning forward. The padding around the ankle leaves something to be desired though.

It was difficult to find a pair of skates to purchase during the pandemic and my old pair had died. As a result, I ended up purchasing quite a few pairs of skates, many of which had design flaws ranging from minor to unwearable (Golden Hours had a permanently fixed plate. Rainbow Riders were unbearably uncomfortable). I finally resorted to a custom build Jackson Vista skate boot with a Falcon plate. It was an expensive build, but very comfortable and skated like a dream. Those are still my primary skates, but while visiting family in Miami a year ago, I bought a pair of these skates to leave with my family so we can skate whenever I’m down. These skates are almost on par with the far more expensive custom build. I love them so much, I almost brought them home. These are the skates I know recommend it to anybody looking to buy a new skate. It’s as great for a beginner as it is a seasoned skater. The Atom Pulse wheels are by far the best outdoor wheel on the market. You can also swap out the outdoor Pulse wheels for indoor wheels for super comfy rink skating. They are fantastic! ... show more
