They are really smooth skates but I second a lot of the reviews that talk about the toe spot. It's a bit to low to the ground. I fell down because the pavement changed elevation and I went flying. Overall they're great but they need to alter the toe stop to be a little higher

I've been using these skates for two years now and love them as much as when I first put them on. These are NOT like Rollerblades. They are very similar to ice skating, hence the front toe stop. I wear a consistent size 8 in shoes, and the size 8 in these skates fits me perfectly (YMMV of course). The Vista boot is designed for everyday recreational skaters, so they're comfortable right out of the box. They aren't designed with support for big jumps or hardcore artistic skating (get the Mystiques or better if that's your thing) but they're great for most of us who just want to do dance moves and simple spins. I almost never use my quad skates since getting these, and it's great to have that ice skating sensation year round. The boots still look like new after two years of solid use. I've only recently replaced the wheels and bearings. For those who are frustrated that your toe stop is too low, if your skates arrived with a big lug nut installed on your stopper, you can safely remove it and adjust your toe stop to your desired height. (I confirmed this directly with Jackson.) No idea why some are shipped with the lug nut, but you don't need it.

I absolutely love these skates! I simply replaced the brakes with a shorter one and they work perfect! Bearings on wheels are so smooth and quiet! I can do all sorts of tricks on these! I get the support I need and they fit perfect! I would highly recommend them!

Not enough support in the boot. Good for recreational skates I guess. The toe stopper is way too close to the ground. I am terrified to take these out after giving it three honest tries. Might have to buy a different stopper? Who thought that was a good idea? Instant face plant.

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely stunning! I’m a self taught roller skater, wanting to transition into official figure skating. I saw I’d be spending waaay more than I do with my quads if I transitioned to ice. I still wanted something similar so I could practice until I’m ready to go on ice, so I looked and found these beauties. They’re solid but much lighter than even my lightest quads. Suede boot (a MASSIVE plus given “funny toe” from stops), they fit snug, comfortable and they’re EXTREMELY smooth in action! (With a little rocker for the curved blade feeling😌). A month later and I’m almost able to pass the preliminary test! Best off-ice skate/Transition skate ever in my book.
