I've had several pairs of water socks over the years, they are great for water parks and the beach where you don't want full shoes (or even water shoes which still have stiff soles) but want to protect your feet from hot ground. In many ways these are better than some others i've tried. For starters, it does not have a removable inner sole, this is the biggest issue i have with other water socks, because they become misaligned and won't stay put after the first wearing, that won't be an issue with these. Another difference is a lighter bottom sole, even though other water socks have a very thin light sole, these are even thinner. They provide non-slip, and protection from the hot ground, but they are not for walking around on rough surfaces for lengths of time. This could make them not hold up to water parks which is one of the main places i use such things, time will tell on that. Overall i'm happy with these for the purposes i plan to use them but i will say they run a bit small. I am a size 7.5 shoe and ordered the 7-7.5 and my toes run just slightly past the sole, what this really means is eventually my toe nails, even though i keep them trimmed, will probably poke through the material and create holes. time will tell on that too i guess. ... show more

I ordered 2 pair of these water shoes and immediately returned them upon arrival. They were VERY badly made -- no structure to them, floppy, loose, dangerous to use if you have any balance issues. I recommend NOT purchasing these.

I just put these on about two hours ago . I am a stroke survivor, was paralyzed on left side. Learning to walk poses challenges, especially when I put shoes on it’s even harder to walk.I have to have socks on when walking around the house or my big toe bends under amd I trip But my socks always slip off on my affected foot. Plus my foot feels more floppy if I don’t have a shoe or sock on. But shoes are so much harder to walk . I tried some water shoes I had and felt a cat with tape on my foot. Plus they dig into my feet. BUT THESE ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I’m going to order more I normally were 7/7.5 But ordered these in 8/8.5 women’s. So a large. I get Edema amd these are so light and not digging in. I definitely recommend. They are light weight and absolutely amazing. ... show more
