This is my third juicer. I have a centrifugal juicer which is not very efficient but works pretty fast and is better for certain kinds of vegetables and fruits. I have a nice Korean-made masticating juicer and pasta maker, but you need to have your pieces cut down really small to fit down the tube. So, even though that's a really good juicer, I took a chance on getting this because I like the option of throwing big pieces in there instead of having to pre-cut them. I threw some apples in there that fell off my tree prematurely in the hopes of making some apple cider vinegar. It's funny; they include a note saying apples make a lot of noise, and not to worry because it's normal. Well, they sure weren't joking—this thing made a horrible rubbing noise when I threw the apples in. But hey, I did not have to pre-chop them, and it handled them pretty well. It processed about 95% of the material. I had to kind of poke the last little bit into the feeder. I'm not sure why they chose to have a rubber plug instead of constantly draining juice, but I don't really mind. The juiced output came out pretty dry, so I can't complain there. This did a good job of extracting the juice. I would just complain that the instructions are in poor English, and the cord is below average in thickness and durability. Overall, the whole thing seems a little undurable. I get the impression this thing is going to break after a few years. My Korean-made one seems pretty bulletproof. But I mean, how often do we make juice? If you are making juice every day, you might want to get a proven one that's made more sturdily. But if you are just making apple cider vinegar every year and occasional juice, this might be right for you. I am definitely loving the giant hopper, if I didn't make that clear already.

The media could not be loaded. Love it so far large chute doesnt get clogged. Only complaint spinning drum slightly scratched. I order replacement and that one was also slightly scratched. Anywho still love the product!!

This juicer has been a total game changer for us! My fiancé and I love buying fresh juices from our local store, but they definitely add up in cost—especially when compared to typical bottled juices. Now, we’re able to make our own fresh juice right at home, and we’re having a blast experimenting with new combinations. The wide 6.5-inch feed chute is a huge time-saver—it easily fits whole fruits and veggies without a ton of chopping. The cold press technology really makes a difference too. It extracts every drop of juice, and we’ve noticed how much smoother and fresher everything tastes. You can tell the nutrients are being preserved. Cleanup is surprisingly easy, which was a pleasant surprise. It comes apart in a few simple steps, and the included cleaning brush helps speed things up. As a first time user, I am happy with this juicer. I took a star off because as a first time user, my husband and I were struggling to understand the directions. They were not the clearest to figure out. With that said, once we did some trial and error experimenting, we got things rolling pretty good. It has been fun looking up and trying different ingredients and figuring out what we do and don't like mixed together to drink. The large opening is very nice as we haven't really had to chop much up and have been able to throw in whole and large pieces/chunks of fruits and vegetables without prepping them first. Noise level is not bad at all, but given I've never used one of these machines before I have nothing to compare it to. At full price this is a pretty expensive kitchen gadget if it's not something you see yourself using quite a bit. At time of ordering it was $159 but I see it is now on sale for $99. Cleaning it was pretty straightforward and easy.

The media could not be loaded. This is THE BEST juicer I've ever had!!!! Here's why! 1. It produces juice that TASTES GREAT!!! 2. I do NOT NEED to spend an HOUR chopping everything up!!!! With every juicer I've had, I've had to do the hard work of chopping it all up first. That is such a pain that I wouldn't use those juicers very often if at all. In other words, if it's too much work I'm not interested. This juicer is different! You can easily toss just about anything into the 6.5" wide chute without chopping it up. SO EASY TO USE!!!!!!!!!!! If it's easy to use - then I'll use it - and this juicer is that! 3. It MAXIMIZES the juice! The best way to tell if your juicer works well is to look at how dry the pulp is. If it is dry then your juicer does a great job juicing - and this one makes the pulp DRY! What I do is mix a little bit of the juice back into the pulp and feed the pulp to my chickens or I will use the pulp in other recipes so that I add the fiber back into my diet!!!!!!! 4. Easy to clean too! It takes a minute to break it apart. 5. Safety - if the top is off it won't work or stops working - so safe for the hands - especially of curious little ones! I LOVE this juicer! It is going to make this fall amazing with all the fall fruits and veggies!!!! Functions great and a great value!!!!
