  • High quality glasses! High quality glasses!
Color: Haka Rectangle Black - Heavy Duty Lens (...
Delivered on time, seller contacted me via email and explained a few more things about the item before it arrived. It does come with a carry case to protect it. Haven't used it much yet but will update this as I use them. Upon initial inspection, they seem to be high quality, very light weight material. I have a big head and cheaper glasses will break if they don't fit, however these were able to stretch far enough to fit me and not break or even feel like they're going to break. They are not NEARLY as yellow as the picture makes them look, so plus there because I won't look like a weirdo wearing them. They almost look like just regular glasses,I'm eager to try them out as an avid gamer and see if they help with eye strain, eye drops just don't cut it at a certain point. First impressions were very good so far so I'm hopeful they perform as well as they look and feel. Also the case they came with is extremely nice, also came with a microfiber cloth for cleaning. The case almost feels like a hard plastic but I didn't play with the case as much as I did the glasses, so will update in the future! Update: since I've gotten a chance to use them now, I can say these help a lot. They aren't going to 100 percent stop eye strain, but they are definitely helpful. The yellow tint isn't enough to ruin quality at all, they're comfortable and light weight, and most of all I went to bed without bloodshot eyes lol. I'd definitely recommend for anyone who is focusing on a screen for long periods of time, gamer or otherwise. Again though, you still can get eye strain, so take breaks when you start to feel it, you just won't have to take as many with these. I went from a 20 minute break every 2 hours, to only one 30 minute break throughout the whole session! ... show more

  • Really great product
Color: Haka Rectangle Black - Low Color Distort...
The main question is do these actually work to reduce eye strain and headaches? Yes. I did a little bit of research on different brands and decided to go with these because they were straightforward with what the product offered without over-hyping it with needless marketing terms. They are very light-weight but they don't feel like cheap at all. It's an odd kind of plastic that is sturdy and solid and doesn't immediately feel like plastic. They are smooth, flat and what I feel could be considered low-profile. I've worn them for as little as an hour and for as long as eight hours and they are perfectly comfortable. I haven't once noticed any discomfort from wearing them, including while wearing them with circumaural headphones. The headphones fit over them comfortably and I can barely notice I have the glasses on. So if you're worried about discomfort while gaming with headphones, don't be. In the two weeks that I've been using them I have seen a significant reduction in the minor headaches associated with staring at a computer all day. I've also noticed much less eye strain but these don't cure that completely. I also alternated using them one day and not the next and the difference is very noticeable to me. They do help with eye strain while gaming but it's minimal, but enough that I do wear them when I play. The biggest benefit has been using them in normal computer tasks: emails, excel, reading lots of text, etc. My only problem with the glasses is the nose bridge. It's a wide bridge so if you have a narrow or even a medium nose the top of the frame sits very near your line of vision. This wouldn't be a problem if they were reading glasses or if you're tilting your head down to look at a phone, but when you are staring straight at a computer screen they create an annoyance. I constantly find myself tilting my head slightly back so my eyes stare through the center of the lenses which is uncomfortable. I think a great addition to the product might be the inclusion of some slim nose pads that could be applied if needed - I would even pay a little more for that. So now I'm left finding some nose pads to make these glasses fit perfectly. Not the fault of the manufacturer because they are a universal size, but a gripe nonetheless. At the end of the day I consider these glasses money very well spent and I'm kicking myself for not having invested in these a long time ago. They come with a hard protective case and a lens cleaning cloth which is a very nice addition but I think the inclusion of some nose pads would make this a perfect product. They are five stars, 4.5 if Amazon let you rate by half a star. ... show more

  • Worth the price, cute, light, and does what it says it does. Worth the price, cute, light, and does what it says it does.
Color: Haka Rectangle Black - Low Color Distort...
These are pretty cool. I am actually wearing it now. It has helped with my eye strain. I stare at a computer all day at work so I wanted to try a pair of inexpensive computer glasses. These are really light and pretty cute too, makes you look extra hipster and nerdy. Hahaha. My fiance has the Gunnar glasses and he said these are pretty good compared to the Gunnars, they get rid of the blue light in the screen and it's really noticeable. There's a a slight yellow tint to them, which I think helps the blue light in the screen. One thing I don't like is that it has a very very strong glare and it's very reflective. Wish it had anti reflective screen on it. Overall, it's worth it for the price. I'm sure they won't last a lifetime but hey, they were cheap. And it's nice that it came with a hard case and a wipe! It's the little details.. 😁 ... show more

  • Save Your Eyes and Buy
Color: Haka Rectangle Black - Low Color Distort...
I game for 6 hours roughly every other day. These glasses have helped me stop getting headaches from long periods of staring at a screen. I also use them at night as well near bedtime. By eliminating the amount of blue light at night, I found myself being able to fall asleep quicker after turning off my computer screen. ... show more

  • Great Computer Glasses... High Quality for the Price
Color: Haka Rectangle Black - Low Color Distort...
I really like the look of the glasses, they look clear. I like the fact that the yellow tint is not visible to someone viewing a person wearing these glasses. I read quite a bit on my Mac, my Android devices, and tablet (ebooks, work documents, subscribed magazines, etc.) . When I wear the glasses, I feel no eye strain at all as it blocks 90% of blue light. These glasses look good so I am not embarrassed to wear them at work or at a client's office. It also passed the wife test (Whew!). The glasses are comfortable to wear as well; I often forget I am wearing them and wear them hours afterwards. The quality of the glasses are really good despite the low price. Are they as nice as my wife's prescribed glasses and frames that cost hundreds of dollars? No, of course not, but these glasses are great quality for the price and it comes with a quality, sturdy case and microfiber cloth. I advise anyone that has oily skin to purchase glass cleaning wipes in case one accidentally touches the lenses. It takes quite a bit of effort to get fingerprints off of the lenses with the cloth. I think this is due to the coating of the lenses. An overall great purchase and I will be picking up another pair in the future for my siblings. ... show more

  • They help but not enough
Color: Haka Rectangle Black - Low Color Distort...
First off I was impressed with how clear the glasses look. I didn't think they were computer glasses at all with how clear they appear. If you look at an angle through the lenses you can barely tell they are yellowish but otherwise you would never know it. I do wish they were a bit more stylish. I know some people like this look but I was not overly impressed with how they look on me. My main concern is with its ability to prevent eye-strain. I will say that these glasses are effective at limiting eye-strain but do not prevent it as I would like. I have tried several other pairs (all notably yellow) which all were better at preventing eye-strain. I would say that it probably reduces eye strain by 80-90%. When I stair at the screen with my naked eyes at a bright screen in a dark room, I can barely tolerate the strain without glasses. With these glasses it is completely tolerable but I still feel a bit of pain from the strain. wearing my normal glasses I barely feel any strain at all in a dark room and none at all in a bright room; they do make everything slightly yellow but it isn't bad. I did try a very yellow pair too that prevented all eye strain in a dark room but I can't stand everything white being the color of pale urine as well as I am sure I look ridiculous wearing orange tinted glasses. All-in-all I would say they would work well for work environment where the room is well lit if you don't want people seeing you in yellow tinted glasses. They are not nearly as impressive as other yellow glasses I have tried but also don't skew the colors either. ... show more

  • A must have. A must have.
Color: Haka Rectangle Black - Heavy Duty Lens (...
Wow what a difference these make for my eyes. I did a lot of research to get a good quality blue light protection lens. This has helped so much, my eyes were in a lot of pain from so much screen time. I wear these all the time. They fit well and are fashionable. Worth the money. They come with a nice case and cleaning cloth. ... show more

  • I put them on and made my life ten times more comfortable that day
Color: Haka Rectangle Black - Low Color Distort...
These arrived arrived two days after I placed the order and just after I came home from school. I opened the package up, a small bubble wrap envelope with in it, a wonderous looking black leather case and inside the glasses I just so badly needed. I put them on and made my life ten times more comfortable that day. The glasses serve its purpose, and serve it well. They can be seen blocking and reflecting potentially harmful blue lights should you take a quick pic in front of any monitor (even a smartphone, yes my iPhone kills my eyes just as much as my three monitors). As a high school student with frequent time spent on the computer and on my phone for constant communication and online assignments, I'll say that this helped me with eye fatigue and gained some decent quality sleep. Long periods of gaming are definitely made more comfortable with less squinting to adjust from various colour changes and even prevents me from tearing whenever I blink now. This magical thing is made well; they're light, they're durable, and they have very reliable hinges and open smoothly. They fit well, resting on the nose without any feeling of slipping off (I've got a curved nose). This review agrees with many others, and to be frank, J+S can give Gunnar Optiks a run for their money. As a Gunnar owner as well, I've found that I've spent more time wearing these than I have with my Gunnar Sheadogs which are significantly thinner and feel more prone to breakage. These clean relatively easier than the Gunnars as well. These have been put to use for the past week with around 40 hours worth of computer time. Should you be in need for computer glasses for games or work and don't want to spend too much money for quality, consider this. ... show more
