The store page states that the Izod Men's Big & Tall Comfort Stretch Relaxed Fit Jeans in the Lexington wash are made from 98% Cotton and 2% Spandex. This is false. The pants that I received in the mail on 12/6/18 are made from 60% Cotton, 32% Polyester, 7% Viscose, 1% Spandex. This is a dramatic difference in the composition of this product. I have been purchasing these pants for years. The 98% Cotton, 2% Spandex version fits great, but the new version with half as much Spandex and nearly half of the Cotton replaced with Polyester and Viscose/Rayon fits poorly and uncomfortably. The store page does not reflect that these pants are no longer 98% Cotton and 2% Spandex, so please be warned to those who enjoyed the old fit, these are not what you're expecting. I'm returning these and I will no longer buy Izod unless they somehow corrected this.

Let me clarify: the jeans are very high quality and very comfortable. Shipping was very fast. No problems there. The only problem is the general fit of these “stretch” type jeans. I previously bought a pair (different brand) in a store and found I needed a 34” waist size (normally I get a 38” waist in pants). I thought it was hilarious I was wearing that size again. However, it seems to be generally true for this “stretch” material. It just makes it difficult to buy online and get the correct fit. I can’t believe I’m alone in this experience.

These jeans fit well and are comfortable. I am 6'4 and wear from a 40/32 to 44/32 depending on brand, I generally have to size up because my thighs and rear don't fit when the waist fits properly and it's a nuisance but with these, problem solved. I ordered a 42/32 figuring I would order in the middle and hope for the best, these fit and at first were a bit snug, five minutes later they are some of the most comfortable jeans I've worn, well done Izod. The material is a bit thinner when compared to Levi's or my dickie work jeans but not so thin that it should cause a problem. I'll order again once I see about longevity, for now tho they are a solid recommendation.

These are by leaps and bounds the most comfortable jeans I've ever worn. I honestly can't recommend these enough. This is my first month trying "stretchy" jeans, and I'll never go back. They look just like normal jeans, material feels to touch as soft and tight texture as denim, however, they have this subtle and liberating give and pull to any way you move. I sit at a desk all day for work, and these feel so much better, instead of sitting with an inelastic waistband as I fidgit in my chair. I am also a pretty big and reasonably fat person, at about 6"2 and 250lbs. I tend to go up and down in weight frequently, ranging from about 210 to 260 depending on what activities I'm doing. I feel like this kind of jean will spand a lot more of those pant ranges, especially more than a traditional jean. This material is 70% cotton, 29% polyester, and 1% spandex. I would imagine if you can find a better priced jean than these w/ the same materials then you still will not be disappointed. These were also available at Kohls online, for the same price, but you have to add in shipping and the options were not as wide. If you could add their coupons to the deal, you could probably get the exact same things for slightly lower price (as long as you can reach the event horizon of free shipping). You don't be disappointed with these jeans. I already bought a 2nd pair, and will completely phase out ALL of my 100% cotton. Cotton just can't contend against the comfort this offers, while loosing absolutely nothing as far as aesthetics.

I'm really happy with these. So much so that I bought the other color too. As others have mentioned they have a small amount of spandex in them. It's not much but it makes these jeans fit well and move with your body well. Some jeans are restricting and uncomfortable to wear. Not these. They're almost like (dare I say it?), denim yoga pants. At least, *ahem*, I've heard yoga pants are comfy and I assume these are comfy like that too. Excuse me...I have to go now.

I don't like tight clothes. Ideally I should wear a 30 waist but prefer 31 or even 32 just because I don't like a snug fit. After reading the reviews here, I ordered the 30 waist. The pants are definitely loose and talk about stretchy - I've never had any clothes that stretched like this unless they had an elastic waist band, like running shorts. I have to say they are really comfortable and look pretty good, though. Construction quality seems good; I didn't note any defects or sloppiness. Pants run a little bit long, part of it because they are loose but even if cinched with a belt to keep them all the way up they are still a little on the long side. But the waist being larger is more than the pants being longer. I have to cuff them up. Anyway, I prefer looser clothing and these pants definitely fit the bill. They're really comfortable in terms of fit and the material. If you want a more snug fit I would suggest ordering a smaller size than you usually wear.

To say it fit as expected would be a lie ! What really happened was I purchased the 48X30 because I’m big and short and they don’t got that section in the stores so for the longest I’ve always just got what ever I could fit and made work regardless if I liked it or not whether it was trending or not if fit I had to take it . Well to my great surprise these jeans fit phenomenaly I still can’t believe it, they are just right on the waste yet are not long or baggy in the legs. I honestly hadn't felt as comfortable or confident in a pair of jeans like that since I was a teenager. In short they fit much better than I could ever had imagined. Just as a reference to size I’m a 48 waste and stand at 5’5 .
