  • No need to check out other wheels 😁
These wheels are amazing! They were on sale and I couldn’t resist! When they arrived even earlier than expected I was surprised to find out they definitely surpassed my expectations. I’ve been skating since I was 10 so I’ve tried to try everything different or unique for a setup just to see if it’s for me. These wheels are definitely for me and I hope the bigger ones go on sale soon so I can try those 😇 thank you guys! ... show more

  • Slow roll
I surfskate with them. They carve really nice and grip really well. My problem is that they are slow. Orangatang are much faster for instance.

  • Great wheels
Love the colors and grips just fine and still can drift the board with control….. smooth pavement is at its best rougher surfaces not as well regular paved street use just fine wears well

  • Slick looking and fast rolling!
Color: PURPLE Size: 65MM
The media could not be loaded. I had heard of CloudWheels before (mostly involving eskates) I wasn't sure about these wheels when I first got them. While I am an avid longboarder, I had not skated a dual durometer wheel (meaning a wheel where the manufacturer fuses together two different polyurethane materials of differing hardnesses). In looking at the specific use case of the CloudWheel Macaron, I was a little confused. The wheel comes stoneground, which means the outer skin has been removed to improve a wheels "break-in" time, especially for sliding. However, if you watch the promotional videos the only side that I actually see is on wet ground.. Additional research on the iwonder website, provided more details - the hardness of the wheel is 83a external, 80a core. They were designed for durability, and smooth riding - this they have definitely accomplished. These wheels roll extremely fast, but they are also quite grippy. I set them up on my freeride board, as I was going to give them a try with a couple small stand-up slides -but after one slide, I was afraid I might destroy them (since they have the softer outer shell). So instead, since I see them used a lot for surf skating (where grip is definitely appreciated) so I set them up on my little cruiser which is setup for pumping. They were awesome for this use case - tons of grip, nice cushioning over rough pavement - very predictable. Final rating: 5-stars - I'm not sure still about freeriding or downhill, but they are definitely a great wheel for surf skating, cruising, or on a small-ish pumping skateboards (like what I test on in the video). Very good looking wheel, and I like that they offer the same duro in different colors. ... show more

  • Fun pushboard wheels
Color: PURPLE Size: 65MM
I've used cloudwheels on my electric longboards before, and they've got a really unique, cushy feel to them. This was my first time trying out the ones for a regular push board, and they're pretty cool. These bring the kind of classic cloudwheel feel to a smaller package, which is pretty neat. Cloudwheels like these are really good at vibration absorption, which is part of what makes them unique. Unfortunately for these wheels, I was already riding 70mm Orangatang Heat wheels, which are quite comfortable. These are a bit smaller, which, I kind of wish they were 70mm, because they really take cracks and bumps harshly. Vibration absorption is really good though, and to be honest, that's fine. Overall, they're good, but they're kinda expensive. Wish they were a bit bigger too. These are probably best used on a popsicle deck that you want to better roll through the city with. The color is really nice, and it's super cool that they come pre-ground. ... show more

  • Very cool design. The dual material might make a good difference.
First, these just look cool. I know it's supposed to have a performance edge due to the dual material build but I honestly got it because of the cool look. I'm just trying to be honest about the why. I didn't plan ahead so I can't use them right now so I can't provide any performance feedback. But they're nicely made and feel good as far as the material. Sorry about the superficial feedback. I'm usually about the utility or performance of an item but here I am.... Talking about its good looks. I'll try to do better. Basically, the material and manufacture all look perfect. ... show more

  • Soft and cushy
Despite their smaller 65mm diameter, these wheels ride smoother than the 70mm hard compound wheels that I typically use on my 38" longboard. These wheels don't feel as fast but they do have a much cushier ride with a more forgiving feel on rough surfaces. The texture of the contact area is relatively soft, which helps it absorb bumps and small rocks, but I imagine it will probably get chewed up quickly if you spend a lot of time on rough pavement. On smooth concrete, I'd expect it to last much longer. Personally, I think it's a fair tradeoff for the smooth ride. These wheels look good and ride great. I think they're an excellent fit for casual riders who prefer a comfier ride over a super fast wheel, especially on smooth surfaces. Recommended. ... show more
