The build quality is high, and they look and feel great. Many people describe these as being a midway point between 'thane wheels and pneumatics, and they're right. These roll over rough pavement much more easily than conventional wheels, although they don't go over really nasty non-smooth surfaces (e.g., broken/destroyed pavement) with the reliability of air tires. They're also capable of doing off-roading in a kludge, although these are definitely street wheels. All-in-all I prefer these to air tires for riding on pavement because they make the ride feel smooth and safe like air tires, but with a lower and more responsive ride. I also only loose about 15-20% off my range (relative to ABECs), while I typically loose 30+% with pneumatics. On really smooth pavement I still prefer small urethane wheels (e.g., kegels), but I'm almost always running into nasty enough pavement (or unsure what I'll run into), and so I find that I put these on my board very often because they are so versatile. I still like my thane wheels and pneumatics (for off-roading), but if I could only own one set of wheels, I'd pick these.

I installed these wheels on my Evolve GTR, and honestly, I’m impressed. I’ve owned two types of wheels before: the stock street wheels and the original Evolve all-terrain inflatable wheels. The street wheels are extremely stiff — you feel every tiny bump, and the ride just isn’t enjoyable. The all-terrain pneumatic wheels, on the other hand, are the best riding experience you can get: super smooth, insanely comfortable, and the board feels incredibly stable. But there’s one huge downside — the range. Those big AT wheels eat the battery like crazy. I could barely get 10–12 miles out of a full charge. These CloudWheels turned out to be the perfect middle ground. They ride MUCH smoother and more comfortably than street wheels, but they don’t drain the battery like the all-terrain setup. The board still feels fast, responsive, and fun — and the range stays almost the same as with street wheels, maybe just a tiny bit less. The comfort isn’t on the same level as the inflatable AT wheels (nothing is), but for a solid wheel, these are absolutely fantastic. Smooth ride, stable feel, great grip, and you keep your long range — an ideal combination. Highly recommend these wheels. If you want comfort without sacrificing mileage, this is exactly what you’re looking for.

I put them on my WowGo 3x and it completly fixed the issue with the bumpy roads and cracks. Also increased the top speed to 47-49 km/h. It does drain the battery a bit faster, but nothing too drastic. Completly worth the switch!

I have about 300 miles experience with cloud wheels on a belt driven, AT board, suburban streets, very aggressive riding, 200# rider. I believe the best use case for these is a summer tire, moderate bumps for City/Suburban streets, but really show their best after break in on well paved roads that are warm/hot. When I have to go over up to a 2 inch gap in pavement/moderate cracks in city streets, it can, but not as smooth as my 6 inch rubber pneumatic tires. They are not that sticky in colder weather, nor are they that sticky when new. When they are new, they create a mildly bumpy ride due to the ridges. They need to be broken in (100-150 miles) to have a larger contact patch to be sticky enough for fun carving on streets. Right now I LOVE them, they grip moderate to moderate-high when broken in and when on warm/hot asphalt. When the colder weather hits (less than 70 degrees), I will 100% be trading them in for my 6 inch rubber pneumatic tires. Like any tire that has a flat contact patch, when you hit a small stone, it can skid out (very uncommon), but it usually just throws the stone in the air. Pictured is cloud wheels with ~300 miles on them. I feel the wheels have a ton of life left in them, and at 300 miles is when the are really pulling into their own due to the larger contact patch. Only one spot has edge damage (see photos). .

Cloud wheels made a huge difference in the feel of the ride. Less foot fatigue and rolls over rocks much easier. The added height helped in parking lots to clear speed bumps without issue. I will be buying again.

Probably the beat wheel for someone looking for a smooth ride but doesn’t have the option to use tires. These wheels are perfect for bumpy road/ commuting though it is not as good for complete off roaring. For someone with boosted board. I will highly recommend eboardstuff 75 tooth pulley as it fits all abec core including this one and the slick revolution pulley simply lacks the tooth for adequate torque. From a person who used to own 107mm, I def recommend
