My son lives in boots. He wears them to his job and out on the farm. We argue about boots to church on Sunday - not because I don't like boots but because all of his our truly work boots. This boot was a great compromise for us. He likes the look with the flags and I like that they are a little dressier of a boot, more appropriate for when you are at an event or outing. I wouldn't recommend them for work as they aren't built with thick soles and tough stitching but I would recommend for outings. ... show more

These are not worth purchasing unless it’s part of a tacky Halloween costume. They are cheaply made with inconsistent stitching and value material.

So first of all the boots run a little large and are thin. And there is zippers on the side of the boot that are not shown in the photos. They aren’t terrible but I would much prefer to get slightly more expensive boots that are much more better I. Quality

For a cheap boot they are decent but a little loose around the ankle area, still true to size. I wouldn’t wear these for long periods of time. The sole has good grip. The material isn’t stiff but it is thin. I wouldn’t say they’re durable. For someone who doesn’t won’t to spend the money on a quality boot, I would recommend these, but I won’t be wearing them that often, I still prefer my Justin’s. ... show more

So, these ARE really nice boots in a number of ways: They fit GREAT, and I have trouble finding shoes wide enough They're waterproof (I got caught in a flash flood and waded though a half foot of water through the streets, and my feet stayed dry) They're comfortable (the leather is a tad more flexible than a lot of boots). BUT, the rubber on the sole isn't vulcanized properly. It has the texture of an eraser, so little bits keep falling off (I've only had them for 3 days), and they VERY easily leave big black scuff marks on everything. It's so bad that the heel isn't even anymore because it's worn unevenly, and again, I've only had them for 3 days. But, apparently cobblers still exist, and aren't that expensive, and you can get them re-soled. If you do that, they're fantastic boots at a great price. If you don't, they'll be trash within the year. ... show more
