I bought this for my newborn but he was not interested in the slightest, and when he got his teeth he didn't care much. But at about 8 months old to a year he likes it because of the crinkly sound lol. He'll bite on it just bc he likes biting things but I don't know if it's helping for his teething specifically. My baby loves it and it’s great for teething, but the shape of the mitt is odd. The mitt is too long and too narrow: I can’t push his hand all the way in. This "mitten" won't even go on my baby's hand. However, she does like holding it to use as something to chew on and the crinkle fabric sound of the mitten is a plus, she loves that too! Minus a few stars for fit, but a few stars for a play toy.
