Love the design and nothing is technically wrong with it however I would’ve like it to be bigger and a bit more challenging. There a lot of the same colors and so it’s kinda easy. Probably great for people that have short attention spans but not for people who are looking for something challenging.

Great design. The finished product looks nice. I didn’t even have to go through and change any of the drills. Most of the letters are easy to read, but the o and d are both very similar colors and could be a little difficult without a light board. Enough drills to finish with just a little left over. Large areas of black that would be great if you like using a multi placer tip. ... show more

I have the Yellow color option in this diamond painting from ITSART. The image is a lion, with half his face in the light and half in shadow, so the left side of the painting has a bright yellow background and the right half has a black background. The image is clear, the picture is obviously a lion. The painting is full drill, with round drills. That means the whole canvas is covered with diamonds, and the diamonds are round. The painting uses 24 colors of drills, they are DMC coded. The chart uses all uppercase letters, but a few of the symbols are blurry on the canvas. For example, D and O are nearly indistinguishable from each other. Both are used for shades of brown, so they’re often right next to each other. W is used for black, and the printing is blurry. The included tool set is basic but has everything needed to do the diamond painting. A drill pen, the red wax to stick the pen into to make the tip sticky, and a drill tray. ... show more

For those that have never done a diamond puzzle before here is how it works: You press the pen that you use to pick up the diamonds into that pink square you see in the picture. The pink square is sticky and the stickyness allows you to pick up the diamonds with the pens. You have to constantly press into the pink thing to keep your pen sticky. In the diamond puzzles I've done in the past I was given a much larger pink square. I am not finished with the puzzle yet, but I have used a decent amount of the pink square already. Other than that, this diamond puzzle is pretty standard. They bags containing the gems are not resealable, but this is standard. I throw them in ziplock bags when im done with a session, and i try to work with one color at a time. The canvas itself is very sticky and i believe i can get through the whole painting without a problem. Will keep you all updated on the supplies left when I finished the puzzle. Tldr; Pro: very sticky, contains all necessary supplies, looks like pictures Cons: not enough of the pink stuff (see explanation above), gem bags dont reseal ... show more

I have two diamond paintings to finish ahead of this one, so I'm trying to patiently wait! I love that there is a dominant subject in this diamond painting and very little background...that is a first compared to others I've completed. This is the standard 30 X 40 cm size, comes with the usual accessories to complete, and the grid is all capital letters. The diamonds look like they are good quality and the colors are subtle. I've done others with animals as the subject that keep the look of a photograph even when finished, so I am hoping this will do the same. ... show more

UPDATE: Thus came out so nicely. Some of the colors seemed lighter than I would have expected but the overall picture is so pretty. I was very attracted to the beautiful picture of a lion. The picture itself and the colors are what attracted me to it. It’s big enough that the finished picture should look like a lion. As soon as I finish my current picture, this one is definitely up next for completion. The background is plenty sticky for your beads and the symbols are easy to see - no blurry or hard to read symbols. If you love lions and diamond painting, give this one a try. I’m so glad I found this and can’t wait to get started on it. I’ll post an update when I’m done. ... show more

This is the first time trying diamond painting. At first when I opened I got overwhelmed by all the little diamond. The instructions were not really clear to me, even with the pictures. The pen that comes with it to connect the diamonds didn’t work properly. The diamonds kept falling off the tip. So I decided to use a regular pen of my own. That seems to work better.
