Do not hesitate to buy this comforter. I purchased the sky blue color. Color was exactly as advertised. It arrived in nice packaging. I immediately threw it in the washing machine, then in the dryer and had no problems with tearing or ripping of any sort. I think you come across tearing in these comforters if you have a washing machine with that middle spinning piece that has those fin like projections that twirl around. This comforter is luxury at a great price! It is so soft and fluffy, it feels like it belongs in a luxury hotel. It keeps me warm in the winter but doesn’t trap heat. I am one of those people who need a blanket to sleep no matter how hot it is, and this comforter does not make me feel hot, even on the hottest days! All I can say is BUY THIS! This is MY 2ND ONE! It's so nice that I had a hard time finding the color and size I wanted! When I found one I jumped on it, and they lasted about 2 days before sold out!¹ I had been looking for the perfect comforter for over 6 months before I found this the 1st time. I checked so many reviews, from every store/website I shop with and couldn't find the right one. I need soft, this is yummy! Needed it to hold up to my dog, the pet hair doesn't stick like it does to microfiber! (everything is microfiber these day's) and needed lightweight, its so full and fluffy yet still lightweight!. I didn't need all the pillows and shams that come with so many, I have so many of them so this is perfect. Will be the only comforter I EVER BUY AGAIN! Very nice comforter!! However.....will NOT hold up to a single wash (delicate cycle). I bought two and both did same thing right out of the washer---mult rips and stuffing coming out. Just as long as you NEVER wash, you should be okay.......lesson learned!!! (I will be returning). I will continue my search for something more durable......never washing is too unrealistic for me!! ... show more
