the bookcase is a bit difficult to put together alone but no surprise as it's large and heavy. it's very sturdy and looks great. my only issue was packaging and shipping. my box arrived very damaged and the shelves were chipped. I'm thinking shipping in maybe 2 stronger boxes would allow for more protection than the one box. other than that it was a great deal. ... show more

These turned out to be a great buy. They’re sturdy, and have good wall braces that will prevent them from falling over. The assembly is easy albeit a little tedious. Seems like they’re going to hold up nicely to scratches and normal wear. They’re attractive in the room as well.
