They don't really hold much wax if a candle really starts to drip, at least that's my experience with 6x3 candles. I'm sure they work fine with maybe a smaller size. They look nice and are solid so other than my small gripe they work great

Very pretty candle holder for Easter. Came carefully packaged. However, the space to put the candle in is very short. I don't feel a tall candle would be very secure. May have to figure out a way to keep it firm.
