I ordered this a year ago (with my doubts because the reviews were half and half) but just 1 lasted me over a year, it still works but not as well so I thought I would get a new one. I used my old one (no joke) about 1,100 times because I like a clean screen especially when using my apple pencil, I would clean it at least 3 times or more a day because I do all virtual schooling. I love this screen cleaner because it leaves absolutely NO residue, just a clean screen that feels amazing. It picks up lint, dust, hair, and fingerprints. Clean it when it starts to not pick up as much or clean as well. Its very easy and fast to clean it. By far my favorite and most used iPad accessory would definietly recommend, this works much better then any of the liquid cleaners I have tried. The way I clean it: Rub off the dirt on the roller under warm water, then let it air dry, open, standing up. If you need to use it right away: shake the water off and roll it on an absorbant fabric that wont leave lint or hair on it. (if hair gets on it you will have to clean it again because the hair jams the rolling. My new one I ordered recently does appear to have a small problem with it. The roller gets stuck on the inside when rotating so I have to hold the cover open when using it and it doesn't roll on the screen easily which does make it harder to use. Not sure why the new one is like this, the black part could be slightly warped/uneven so it is touching the inside which I think is the problem. I did order a new one and I'm gonna see if it has the same problem because they could have changed the product since a year ago or mine could just be a defect. However it still cleans the screen just as well. The new one comes tomorrow and I will edit this for an update. The old one works good still so I might use that in the meantime. Despite the problems with the newer one I still rate this product 5/5 stars because of how much I loved the old one. RECOMMENDED❤ !UPDATE!: Sorry it took me a while to update this but the new new roller I bought (because the other one was a defect) came about a month ago and it works PERFECTLY, just as good (if not better) than I remeber the original working. It doesn't have the problems the defect does and it rolls on the screen so smoothly, never getting stuck or closed. LOVE this product so much and will countue to purchase in coming years! (maybe one day I will get around to adding a video and pics) ... show more

Took a chance on this as a "lightning deal." It actually works pretty well. It's larger than I was expecting - it can clean a tablet in two swipes. I'm curious to see how long it lasts, but so far it does what it says. Still feels a little overpriced though.

Update: After some back & forth, the manufacturer agreed to replace my iRoller for free. The new one is working great so far, but of course, I still have doubts about the durability Previous update: I've had this thing for about 6 months and have followed the instructions, which state: "You can refresh the iRoller by simply washing it with liquid soap and warm water occasionally and it will last for many years." However, lately it has been coming apart and leaving its sticky gunk on my iPad screen. I emailed the manufacturer and he insisted that I must be using it improperly in some way, but that's not the case. Simply unacceptable that something that cost $20 with one single function would start doing the opposite of what it's designed to do after 6 months. Here's my old review, for reference: Pros: - cleans my iPad screen as close to 100% quicker than anything else I’ve tried - easy to throw in a bag and take with you Cons: - only takes off fresh fingerprints. You’ll need to use it regularly (at least once a day) and clean it well with a microfiber or something similar before first use. This is important. - requires cleaning with soap and water probably about every 20 uses for me - design is a bit crap as the cover will close itself while rolling sometimes. Overall it’s worth the cons to me because my iPad screen is fingerprint free much more often than it used to be ... show more

If the screen has anything more than dust, it will not clean - see other similar negative reviews for comparison. In short, a little elbow grease and a t-shirt is a far better, cheaper, and more convenient option than this thing. It will take 'some' of the 'stuff' off of the screen, but not clean. In fact, not even close to liquid or, again, a t-shirt with small circles. I had very high hopes, but this product essentially does nothing. Lastly, my experiences with the seller were far from acceptable as well. After purchasing, an automatic email is sent multiple times asking for reviews (completely fine, of course). I politely described my experiences and was told that it was basically my fault. Here is part of the sellers response to me, "...its function was misapplied. The iRoller was designed to remove recent greasy finger smudges from cell phone touch screens like those on smart phones, tablets, and kindles where fingers are always leaving oily smudges." That is basically "everything," but how can this legitimately be misapplied, it is a roller... When I pushed back, I was given a speech on being sanitary... Finally, the seller did apologize for being "excessively defensive" which I definitely give him credit for, but if you look at other reviews this is his normal response to critics of the product.
