  • My 4th pair over the years !
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Brown
My 4th pair over the years . Durable , fairly comfortable and even more once broke in . Water proof and strong .

  • Top Notch Quality
Size: 10.5 Color: Brown
Why did you pick this product vs others?: The only shoe I wear and I have been wearing this style for about 10 years. . Even when sole is falling off they stay waterproof. True to size, takes about a week to break in.

  • Solid boots
These are a solid pair. These fit small. I wear a 10.5 and these boots in a 10.5 could only be worn if I had no socks on, and they would be snug. I suggest going up a size or two from your usual size. They look quality.

  • Redwing Irish Setter Boots
Good fit. These shoes have rubber soles for icy/slippery conditions. Lots of the cheaper priced shoes have plastic soles and in our Minnesota winters wearing them you can find yourself on your keester. I pay close attention to this feature. Lots of people were falling on icy streets this past winter breaking wrists, arms, concussions, etc.... Nice cushion insoles make walking long distances a non-issue. Good shoes will buy again. Redwings used to be made in the USA, but these were "made in china" ... show more

  • Long Lasting and they Wear In Great
I love these boots. I bought my first pair around 10 years ago and the sole just started to wear out, so I wanted the same exact ones. These are my more "dressy" boots that I use in rotation with some Columbia hiking boots. High quality and I would recommend them to anyone.

  • Not as comfortable
Not the same as they used to be. I ordered my first pair a couple years ago and they were very comfortable. That pair was made in Taiwan I think. This pair I have now are made in china and are stiff and too tight. Doesn’t feel like the leather is the same and still hasn’t broken in since April. Won’t order again ... show more

  • Can't beat the comfort once broken in
Always wore red wings but the price is crazy now for red wings. For my line of work (construction) and around the yard, these can't be beat in my book. I don't use steel toe so let's not take steel toe into account here. These are tough for the first few weeks, but once broken in they are like slippers, flex with the front of my feet and ankles. Spent 30 plus years on construction sites doing floor so always bending and flexing at ankle and feet. Tips will wear like any other boot, if you do floors that's a reality we can't escape, expect to have the tips wear. But, for the money and comfort these are my go too's. ... show more

  • comfortable and look good, buy a good set of shoe strings!
This my second pair. The first pair lasted 6 years of everyday wear both at work and at home. Well constructed, comfortable and look good. BUT!!! IRISH SETTER went out and searched high and low and had to have spent a lot of money to find the cheapest pair of shoe strings they could find. Of course you do not find this out until 5:00 AM when putting them on to go to work after wearing them for a whole 3 weeks. If they want to save money fire the shoe string engineer that found these pieces of twine and find a good pair of shoe strings for a really great pair of leather boots. ... show more
