I have had these shoes for four months and I am very impressed with their quality. I wear them 5 days a week, 8-10 hours per day. For comfort, style, durability, and quality I have no complaints. I am a heavier guy (275 lbs) so a lot of shoes wear out quick for me. These have held up better than any pair I have owned. They are definitely worth the $125 I paid. However, there are two issues that I had with them: 1) The size runs small. I have worn a 10.5 since I was 17 years old in every boot and shoe I have owned. A 10.5 was painful; felt like my foot was in a vice. I returned them and tried an 11 D and they worked great. 2) The shoes stings could be better. After 4 months the lace on the right side broke and one on the left was beginning to split. Not a big deal, but I would expect for such a high quality shoe and higher price that the shoe lace be top quality also. Follow Up July, 2017: Still love this shoe. I have had them for about 18 months and they still look great. The leather has held up well and I have only done the minimal upkeep. The soles are showing wear so I will probably have them resoled soon. I am a bigger guy at 270 lbs so my shoes typically wear out within a year. These have held up remarkably and still have a lot of life left. Best shoe I have ever owned.

I bought these shoes for long hours. I work 12 hour days in pest control. They are amazing out of the box but the memory foam insoles were flat after about a week and they started hurting my feet and back. I'm not a big guy. After some new regular insoles though these shoes are amazing, so just know you may have to switch them out. I bought 1/2 size bigger like others said and they fit perfect. They are very much waterproof as advertised. I was walking around about an inch of water and my feet never got wet. The shoes and leather are very durable around chemicals I use. They are not very slip resistant but I wasn't expecting them to be.

Best shoes I’ve ever owned. The more I wear them the more comfortable they become . I know the price sux but I believe they will hold up for years . I wear Irish setter Ely work boots and get 2 years out of each pair .

I am the world's biggest Red Wing/Irish Setter fan, using them for decades; moreover, this is the 3rd pair of this model that I have owned. The previous models were made of a higher quality, more supple leather; that, and the footbed was more comfortable. All good things must end, it seems. This pair are amongst the least comfortable shoe of any I've owned; the leather used, or its treatment, is very different. No longer supple, soft, and comfortable, they are now stiff, rigid, and cheap feeling; I foolishly kept them, thinking perhaps rhey would "break-in" eventually. After more than a year of wearing once a week, they feel no better than they did on day one, even with the addition of premium insoles. I can no longer recommend these shoes, sadly. I hope that I received a poor example this time, but based on other examples of their other models I've seen recently, I fear that they are cutting costs at the expense of quality and comfort.

This is the 4th pair I've had of this exact shoe model. Since 2012 I've exclusively worn these and hope they continue making them. I find them comfortable, they're a great mix of work and casual which great for office settings. There's nothing I can say bad about them. They hold up really well, although this is my forth pair I still have the first three which has become my outdoors work shoes, I've never had a pair of shoes last longer than a year. I'm a big guy so the fact after 12 years I can still wear the first pair is mind blowing to me.

These fit perfectly and look very nice. High quality leather and contrast stitching. Nicely padded insole and padded ankle collar. Solid value for the price.
