This is not a high quality sweater. Needs reenforcement around button holes ( they don’t stand a chance) Loose knit, would be good for fishing. As a net.

Not sure what other reviewers are on about, the one I received was great quality and sized generously/appropriately for a large. The buttons are sewn on in a floppy way because that is the style of button for this kind of sweater, they are completely secure. However, I am not sure they are actual leather, but maybe imitation. I actually wish I had gotten a medium instead of a large, but I was concerned because some said they ran small and also shrank in the wash even when laundered as instructed. I am considering getting another, but think I will wash the first one to see how it goes and if it still fits who I got it for. Also, the guy I got it for thinks it is very soft, but to me it was a *little* itchy/scratchy though very thick and cushy. I have a merino wool hat that is much softer than this, but, it is not woven, it is sewn together from pieces of ... pelt? with the wool still attached, not sheared. Maybe that makes a difference. Well, as long as he thinks it's soft that's what matters. :D

If I could give this thing 10 stars, I would. I get compliments on it EVERYWHERE. It’s probably the most comfortable piece of clothing I own — very soft & warm — to the point that I usually have to take it off at work, because otherwise I’ll want to take a nap at my desk! The fit is perfect, and it’s not easy for me to find clothing that fits well... I am 5’7”, 190lbs, muscular build with a 44” chest. Size L is a perfect fit. (Wearing the oatmeal color in the photo... I plan to order more colors!) Added bonus: my grandfather always wore a cardigan just like this one. He was one of my heroes, and I feel just a little closer to him wearing this one :)

A little larger than I thought but looks and feels great. Sort of a retro style, but I like it. Really warm in cold but wearable in just cool weather as well. Have to be careful not to snag the loose knit. Reasonable price, great quality.

good looking sweater and quality appears to be very good but only time will tell for sure. Did not notice any odors other than what you would expect from a wool sweater. Size seems to be as expected
