This works fine. My only complaint is it doesn't seal very well. I am using it in my wood shop to exhaust lacquer fumes and sawdust and the small gaps around the sides will allow bugs to enter. I probably need a much bigger opening that I could add a screen to but that is not an option in a rented shop and a screen in my small opening blocks too much air flow. Very heavy build the only thing I question is if vent fan has enough muscle to actually open vents. As far as built they seem very well built with thicker materials than I expected, these are not cheap built louvers . I know doubt will buy again when I need more....

I purchased this to replace a set of plastic louvers that had broken after several years use. The only reason for the 4 star rating is that I had to insert a plastic washer alongside one of the louvers so that it moved freely and would close completely.
