At Christmas I put together a packet of purse items-nail file, folding scissors, chap stick, pill box, Kleenex, band aids and these little note pads (they come with a small pen). They were a hit. I use the note pad in my purse quite often to remember whatever. It is small enough to tuck into your pocket or purse. They are plastic so you have to be careful when unsnapping the cover. These are very cute little notebooks. I like that they have multi colored paper in them, with some lined and some blank. The colors were quite pretty too. The reason why I gave this four stars is because there is an indent in the cover where the stretchy band had pulled on it enough that it is permanently deformed. However, the faux leather cover can be removed, and underneath is some basic pastel card stock which can be decorated. Not happy with this purchase. None of the pens work and they were the main reason I bought these note pads. The note pad itself is fine, but not very sturdy and none of the pages are lined. I didn't mind that so much when choosing these since they're not for anything important. Just something I could easily stick in a pocket or small purse, but without functioning pens they are not the handy item i wanted them to be. Also be aware, since I've purchased these the picture of the item they're selling has changed to a different note pad and no longer inclues an attached pen so I'm not sure which item you'll actually receive if you buy these. ... show more
