I had needed a new cover for a while. I needed it to be durable and not have a material that was going to catch lint or get scuffed easily (it's in my backpack all the time). I also needed the cover to be smooth because I use an apple pencil a lot. Biggest design concern, I didn't want it to look like I was taking orders at a restaurant - I wanted fun. This has checked all my boxes. There are three different heights to rest the ipad which is perfect for when I need to compare notes on different devices. The loop that holds the apple pencil is also secure, I don't have to worry about it falling out. So far, no scuffs and the inside has stayed clean. I've been using it for a few weeks and it looks brand new.

The media could not be loaded. My trusty plain, old case was starting to fall apart so I thought I’d go for something with a little personality. The case is sturdy and the iPad feels protected. A couple of flaws though: 1) If I want to use my Apple pencil rather than the little stylus it came with the case often doesn’t latch. 2) The stylus is placed right over the volume buttons obscuring access. 3) It doesn’t always remain propped up (see video), could do with a magnet for stability.

I bought this to protect my new iPad mini. It has the look of a pretty watercolor journal. Unfortunately the quality isn’t that great. There is a scuff on the black liner that holds the pad, and the camera cutout looks botched and uneven. I’m trying to decide if I can overlook those issues, or just send it back. Sorry, but would not recommend. 😞
