It worked great on my shower floor tile which is on the 2nd story of my house and it was leaking onto my 1st floor storage room. It has withstood hot water temperature when other sealants would not! I applied 4 coats (each coat in different direction) allowing each coat to dry at least 8 hours and then let the last coat dry for at least 48 hours before use. I got this sealant for my camper as emergency since it previously had a leak that I didn’t want to go through again. But then I needed for my patio with all the rain from few weeks ago. My patio roof is attached to the house with very little slope that with heavy rains backs up and slowly leaks in. The problem is the aluminum patio roof has these channels that at that end has foam pieces glued that’s supposed to keep that water out. Unfortunately with time those foam pieces and their glue loses their seal which causes that leak in a couple spots. Conserving this sealant I then brushed it just to those spots and during the next rain I observed those leaks had stopped but moved laterally a couple feet farther to another spot. That convinced me this stuff works so I decided I’ll be liberal and apply the sealant to the entirety of the edge of my patio ceiling to make sure the leak would stop completely and not even move. If it did the job fixing the original leak I’m confident that it will fix it in the new spot and anywhere else I brushed this sealant on. Until the next rain it’s TBD but for now I feel assured. ... show more

I am not good with caulking and similar tasks, but had a situation where I needed to seal light which would be outdoors. Previous lights had failed due to water incursion, including one that I had used silicone caulking on the seam. I want the new light to last longer, so my investigation led me to try Wadities Wall Bathroom Roof Water-Based Waterproof Coating. I'm glad I did. For my initial task I found it easy to apply (ignore my sloppiness, please), easy to clean up slips, and easy to clean the brush I used for application. It dries well, but I will wait the full 48 hours for the second coat. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of application - I was expecting to have a mess when I was finished, but that wasn't the case. In addition to the light shown, this sealant will be used on a number of small projects to water proof them. My next task will be to seal a bath tile with a crack - I don't know if it is leaking, but I sure want to stop it before it does. This will product looks like it will do the trick! Will it work on a flat roof as touted? I don't know - I suspect it would depend on careful preparation and application and a skill level I don't have. Overall, VERY HAPPY with the product - versatile and easy to apply. ... show more
