Description

Pack Saddle Pannier for use with Western saddles. Use your western saddle as a pack saddle. Here is an easy and inexpensive way to pack your gear. Great for summer camp trips or pack out your game in the fall. Saddle Panniers will allow you to use your pack horse as your riding horse once you have set up camp. Made of a rayon canvas material with all seams double stitched and reinforced with binding. Two deep pockets on each side of the pannier which will fit over the saddle. This material is more than twice the strength of cotton canvas One Color.

Four stars because I did not get to put it to the test. Sturdy product and have not doubt it would have done the job, but I did not fill my Bison tag. I will be using it again in November for the deer hunt and feel confident it will hold the the meat if I find a buck.

I love this for the price. I use it to hunt elk deer etc... I put it on the saddle empty and ride the mountains looking for game. When I get something it is already in place ready to load. It is thin enough to ride on top of but strong enough to do the job of packing out an elk. Its not designed for riding on top of but I certainly do it! great for the price. ... show more

Panniers are plain Jane and heavy duty..... They are huge.... And I haven't had any trouble with them, except each side needs to be packed with fairly equal weight. Pretty good deal!

At this price I use these as a disposable item. I only use them to pack out game quarters. They clean up really well in the washer. I usually get 2 hunting seasons out of them packing out 2-4 elk per year.
