About 20 years ago, I paid a lot of $$ to buy a real good underwater swim mask. It was made of this new stuff called "full contoured silicone". I could put the mask to my face, not using the strap at all (let it hang), and with two fingers, push this mask to my face, feel the air rush out, and it sticks like glue for as long as I want to leave it there. I paid a lot for that. Fast forward 20 years. Now, all masks (even cheap ones) are made of silicone. But not created equally. They look the same, but it must be the $$ in design that goes into it, whether they are just going to be made for comfort, fit and no air leaks, for the average face. I have a daughter who is 8. I bought cheap masks about a half dozen times, trying to find one that works. NO LUCK. They were all just sub-par. Until I bought these! I am almost 50 (full grown), and both for me, and my daughter, this mask fits and is as good as my old one of 20 years ago (save this one does not have a purge valve for diving). I like this one so much I bought 2 of them, and they are both the same quality. I am glad Amazon keeps track of my purchases, because I know I'll be buying this same exact one again the next time I need one for my family, or want to buy one for a relative if they get a pool as an extra. Nothing bad to say about it - for the money, it fits my 8 year old, and my own (normal size) adult head. I don't use the strap - I just push it against my face, go under for my 20 second swim, and when I come up, let air out my nose which softly dumps the mask into the water. I also wear contacts, so can't open my eyes under water without a mask, or risk losing them. I highly recommend this mask over many similar alternatives!     • Misleading advertising only one mask
Misleading advertising I only received one black mask and advertising shows 2 one blue and one red.

    • Goofy looking but I swim at the gym with these often.
I don't want goggle circles around my eyeBALLs and this solves that problem. I don't care if I look goofy (I do) ...no leakage and they stay on. Good enough.

    • Only One - Misleading Description
My two ten-year-olds were excited about receiving these. However, I guess I should have read the reviews before purchasing and would have found that the picture and description were misleading. I thought I would be getting two pairs of goggles, but I only received one. One 10-year-old was disappointed when the red goggles didn't come.
