  • Bigger than expected. Durable. Good buy.
Durable, little no smell when opened, and easy to inflate with a plug in inflater (I recommend getting one as this doesn’t come with one.) We used one that came with an air mattress we have. It’s bigger than I expected, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but I was actually wanting something a tad smaller to keep indoors this winter for playtime when it’s cold. My 2.5 year old absolutely loves it and it’s been a big hit. It came with a small patch kit, but you could get a pool patch kit to keep on hand for easy patch jobs as it’s used over time. ... show more

  • Fun Castle!
After lots of research products like this we took a leap of faith, based off other negative reviews, and decided to purchase the item anyway. I am 1000000000000% glad we did! I didn't want to spend $150 to rent a bounce-house for my sons party so started looking for alternatives. I came across this and was torn between this and the other yellow round one Amazon offers around this price. It's great. We really love it! It withstood the party and is now up in our playroom for indoor days! My son 1, another 1yr old, a 2yr old, 3yr old, 2 4yr olds, and a 6yr old. They were all in it at once and there was plenty of room to bounce/play. As with any plastic toy you'll want to blow it up 90% of the way and give it a good 6-8hrs before use to expand and stretch around the seams. We aired it mostly up the night before the party and then completely up at the party, which was on a concrete floor with no padding, and didn't have any problems. It feels very durable unlike the cheapo pastic-y feeling pools. I would also recommend this over the yellow round one and even the one thats round and sold at Walmart because the posts help hold the weight in. So if your child loses his balance and falls not only are the walls high enough for him not to fall over, but supported by the other sides and will hold up pretty nicely. With the others it looks like they could fall out or the plastic wouldn't support someone toppling over the sides. I would definitely say this is not for older kids 6+. Its more geared towards younger kids who don't need to be tossed very far ;) The actual bounce piece is a blow-up mattress type thing inside the walls, you blow the base and towers up, then sides up individually, then the bounce part inside. If you're looking for something super bouncy or for older kids this is not it. The 4yr olds and 6yr old all got in it and jumped around rough-housing a bit and it held up just fine but I can't imagine older kids really enjoying it and possibly being too rough. I would recommend it. Amazon has a great return policy so even if you are on the fence I'd take the chance and give it a try yourself. I'm not sure why the others have such negative reviews on the product because I had none of the problems they seem to have had. Air it up about 90% and let it sit for a while, overnight/whatever, and then finish blowing it up. That's just common sense when using plastic-y products. I will write another review a few months down the line to let you know how the product is holding up. Overall we are very pleased and consider this a great buy! ... show more

  • time consuming to get set up but worth it.
The unboxing process was easy. Using an air pump for an air mattress that has the options of inflating and deflating will be your best friend, especially of it has attachments. Each wall, the outside and the jumping area have to be blown up separately. It took closer to 10 min to air the entire thing up. Using the deflation on the air pump, took about the same amount of time to take down. It never folds back up like brand new, but as long as the majority of the air comes out it can be stored in a tote doe safekeeping, it does not come with a carry bag. I blew it up and took it down 2 days in a row. It's great for indoors. My 2 and 6 yr old loved it. They eventually found new ways of climbing over the over and falling into the castle. We used an inflatable punching bag inside as well as a foldable cocomelon bus tent. Made more use out of it than just a bouncy ball pit. It is 6x6, we used a workout mat under it to prevent any punctures on the bottom. I wanted to jump as well, but I'm over the weight limit, however I was able to move my rebounder next to it and jump outside, while the kids were inside. It would be ideal if you have space, to keep it inflated as long as possible. It's not just a 2 min job. ... show more

  • Defect or possible hole somewhere.
Blew it up the first time, toddler jumped in it about a half an hour. After sitting for a few hours noticed it was deflating on its own. Didn’t think anything of it. Sometimes this happens with inflatable . Let all the air out put it away took it out again a few weeks later. same thing except for now it’s deflated almost 50% by the morning. ... show more

  • To long to blow up but great toy.
It takes forever to blow up with a small electric air pump as suggested. However after having it for a couple weeks, it has been a great energy user for my grandsons!! They love it!

This is agreat buy!! I bought for my 1 yr old. He lives it. It is a good size. You inflate and let the kids have at it! Lol! No constant blower needed like others. I had 5 little kids in it and they loved it for hours at a party. It is still inflated. No issues with holding air. It did come with one air patch. Overall tons of fun for kids that want to bounce out their energy! It. Otes a 129lb limit it handled that weight pls a little more at our party. Great for the price! Bouncing fun!! ... show more

  • Exactly what I wanted. Pros and cons for sure
I wanted something my kids could really go to town in without fear of leaks or any issues. Long story short, no issue at all and it's great. The details: Pros: Each wall, the bottom, and the perimeter frame and pillars have their own nozzles to fill up with air. Having everything sectioned off is really smart. It's really durable. It's just bouncy enough to be fun and bouncy while still feeling super strong but not rock hard either. The main perimeter frame and pillars have a really big handy opening to fill/release air. Cons: Lots to fill up. It was expected so what can you really do besides use a pump or a compressor. First 24 hours it STUNK of ammonia basted plastic. Airing out the house when it was below freezing stunk but did the trick. After a day or so the smell was totally gone. Deflating this beast took a bit to figure out but here's where I'm at. To release air just open everything up, lay a heavy blanket or 3 on it and walk away. After about 30 minutes you'll come back to a mostly deflated house. Now you just have to spend forever flattening it all out and you're good to go. ... show more
