I absolutely love this table. We've had a hard time finding tables that fit our style, sectional, living room decor, and budget-- this was it! The table is the perfect size for what we needed, and it's solid. In fact, it is probably one of the most sturdy pieces of furniture I have. The box it came in was pretty banged up, in fact our UPS guy didn't even want to leave it figuring the item would likely be damaged and offered to just load it back up and have it returned. I told him I'd take it check it out first. There was surprisingly no damage to any of the pieces, they were in fact wrapped quite well inside of the box. All parts were included along with assembly instructions. The instructions contained more pictures than words, which can sometimes lead to guessing games, but if you can pay attention to detail and have a some common sense then it's a piece of cake. We put the whole thing together in about 20 minutes, and it probably does require 2 people given that the pieces, as mentioned, are solid and heavy. It would be a real challenge for someone to hold up a piece with one hand while trying to get all the screws in place. The table comes unfinished, and it looks lovely just the way it is but it also gives you the opportunity to be as creative as you want and really make it flow with your space. I did not like that it meant I had to wait an additional 3 days to start using it, but I like that I was really able to style it according to my hearts desire, and can easily change it later on if I want. I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering the purchase! ... show more

I don't know what it is about International Concepts furniture, but I am absolutely in love. The fact that it is REAL wood so the furniture is sturdy and of good quality and that the price is extremely low compared to other brands: just doesn't get much better than that! Almost all their products come unfinished so you can finish/paint them however you would like! And since I love a good DIY, I will keep coming back. My first project was a console table which I painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint and it turned out beautiful. I plan to do the same to this table here soon. The table came perfect, no damage, hardware was there, and took a short time to set up. It looks great with my decor and fits in my living room perfectly! Delivery was fast and item arrived in good condition. There were two small dents in the wood on the top but nothing that would make me send it back. Putting it together was incredibly simple and took about 10 minutes. Stained very well and painted well. Make sure you use a wood conditioner first or it will soak up all of your stain with numerous coats. It's Danes beautifully in the wood grain really shows! We stained the top wood and the base wood piece with Minwax stain called early American and painted the leg basis a dark grey even though it's hard to tell by the pictures. I also sanded down Each corner on the top piece because they were pretty squared. I included a picture of this because it turned out very nice and soaked up extra stain so the corners are darker. I definitely recommend this product for this price because it turns out looking like a much nicer table than what you paid for! ... show more

My first delivery was broken- see photos- but Amazon was great and sent me a replacement and arranged for the broken package to be picked up. The most frustrating part of that experience was trying to get everything back in the package once it was all out, because I didn't note how they packaged it in the first place so I wasn't great at fitting it all back IN to the box. The second delivery was intact. Based on some of the photos here, I decided to stain and urethane the flat parts and paint the sides white. I used leftover stain and urethane from a recent flooring project and I absolutely love the outcome. There are some imperfections in the wood that didn't take the stain no matter how much I sanded or left the stain on, used extra layers, etc. but I think it adds to the character of the table. I actually used the cardboard box the table came in to lay the table on top of while I was staining it in my garage, it worked out nicely. This table is solid and was very easy to put together. My only other gripe besides the initial broken delivery was that the hardware bag was open and almost half of the items were not floating around in the box. I had to go to Home Depot and purchase about $6 worth of replacement hardware. All in all this table was well worth the issues because the finished product is just amazing. This is so beautiful I wish I could give it 10 stars!! It is REAL WOOD!! Heavy, solid, beautiful, with everything fitting together a it should. Easy to put together and looks so lovely when you are done! It is handling the wear and tear of a 5 year old too so that is a plus!! For this price, any price really, it is a high quality beautiful piece. Dont be intimidated by the natural state----stain & paint are easy and it is well worth the quality table you will receive!!! ... show more
