I’ve only used this a couple times now cause I just recently got it. The assembly was easy and the instructions to assemble were easy. I had no issues putting it together and it only took me about 30-45 minutes by myself to build it. I have used this to sit outside and work. It held my laptop, my water bottle, a mouse, some snacks, and had no issues. I was afraid of it being wobbly or not sturdy enough, but it held together. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is that when you move the table tray up into position and try to lock it in place in the table position, it seems sketchy. That is the one component that came pre-built. It’s not smooth to move the tray from hanging to a table position, because you have to secure this little metal rod in a hole that locks this in the table position. And that metal lock seems a little wobbly along with the wood pieces that hold that lock in place, they don’t seem quite sturdy either. However, if you are considering, I would say buy it. I did lots of research around many different sites and exploring on Amazon too when I wanted to buy one, and this one was the best I found. And so far, it has been worth my money. When I have used this, I haven’t had any issues and it holds well! It looks great and I do really love the color and the wood look. My only concern is that metal rod that stabilizes the table in place, but maybe it’s just me, cause it hasn’t done anything to make me distrust it yet haha

I was a little hesitant buying this, as neither the seller or the product had any reviews, but this was exactly what I was looking for, so I went ahead with it anyway. There were other balcony attached tables available on Amazon, but all of them were smaller, cheaper, or required a support bar be attached through the railing - something I couldn't do with a concrete half-wall for a railing. THE GOOD: - The table is as described and pictured (well, almost, see below). Both the wood and the hardware used appear to be of high quality. - It was well packaged - there was obviously a great deal of attention paid to making sure the parts of the table were well protected. - Once installed, the table is sturdy and easy to put up and down. - Product was shipped and arrived more quickly than estimated by Amazon - I was setting it up a week after ordering it (shipped from Canada via DHL, signature required). I live in Detroit, so this may have hastened the shipping though. The only complaint I have about this table are the instructions. The instructions had one step ("assemble the table") and a picture of all of the components of the table coming together. This ended up being OK with me but it was a puzzle figuring out exactly how things go together and how they should be attached to one another and to the balcony. You have to use both provided Allen wrenches to attach the parts together, which could be difficult without help. I opted to install the arms that attach it to the balcony first, and then attach the table to these arms second - this worked well but required that my roommate help me. If you notice in the first product picture, the mechanism that goes over the balcony is slightly different than it is in the other pictures - the first picture just has holes for the bolts, while the other pictures have a channel instead - this is what the product actually has. Well this did make the table adjustable to my balcony wall, i'm curious how this mechanism will hold up with extended use, as this is the part of the table that will bear most of the weight - I'll update the review in the future to report on this. If you have a very small balcony, this table is a great fit - its big enough for coffee and maybe a small meal for 2. Its also easy to fold down if you need the space. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SELLER: - The seller should provide better assembly instructions. Balcony attached furniture could be potentially dangerous if installed incorrectly, so it is important that better guidance be provided to ensure this is assembled and used safely. - When I purchased this, it was $77 plus $25 for shipping (it has since increased to $50 for shipping). The seller would probably be better off including the shipping price in the product's price and offering free shipping. To many customers, the adding shipping costs come off as deceiving. If this product was listed at $99 or $120 with free shipping, I think others may be more compelled to order it.

After assembling this in about 20mins, we put this into use for dinner….. but the diagonal bracing underneath folded up breaking our plates, glasses. What a mess…. After looking into this the bolt that locks this doesn’t hold/doesn’t lock correctly(I assuming this is a factory defect or is a lemon).

The wood is of very good quality and assembly was very simple. Offers a couple of options of assembly, depending on the railing width. One of the features to rate here is "Light Weight". I gave it 3 of 5 stars for this reason. This is a sturdy product that has some heft to it - all a good thing. It will hold what you put on it. Believe it's rated to hold about 75lbs. So I didn't expect this to be a "Light Weight". It's build appropriate to its function. It's not a "Light Weight" that's going to blow away in a breeze. But it is not something that seems to be made out of cast iron. We have a door from our kitchen area to the back patio with the grill and smoker. There are steps with a railing going to the patio area. Our purpose for this is to hang on the railing so we can put trays of food that are going to and from the patio. Eliminates carrying things up and down the steps. I can place several things from the kitchen on this, then go down to the patio and have them available in easy reach. When the grilling/smoking is done, they go back on to be easily taken into the house. Was a perfect problem solver for us.
