I have a small patio. I was looking at drop down tables and almost went with a white plastic model. When I found this one it looked like a nicer table. It cost a few dollars more (and even more when I decided to go with the larger size) but it was definitely worth it! It's easy to put together, takes up no space when it's folded and provides lots of sturdy space when it's up. It's solid wood and adjustable to fit any balcony rail at a variety of heights. The only issue I had was it was missing 4 bolts. A quick trip to Home Depot got me 4 replacements but they're metric and so finding an exact match was impossible. I sent an email to the company and they responded IMMEDIATELY with way more than I expected. I can only say that their customer service way exceeded my expectation...two days later I received a replacement table and the replacement bolts are on their way from Viet Nam. All I have to say is WOW! This is a beautiful, over the balcony table. The craftsman ship is absolutely amazing. I want this this so bad, but alas, my balcony is so microscopic even the 28x24 is HUGE and I mean you can't turn around big. That is not their fault. The description is perfect, but in my case, even though the dimensions "work," my space is so cramped that this stunning piece of craftsmanship just doesn't work. I'm SOOOO sad.. it's SOOO gorgeous! So if you don't have a super tiny space like mine.. make this work. It's lovely. ... show more

I’ve only used this a couple times now cause I just recently got it. The assembly was easy and the instructions to assemble were easy. I had no issues putting it together and it only took me about 30-45 minutes by myself to build it. I have used this to sit outside and work. It held my laptop, my water bottle, a mouse, some snacks, and had no issues. I was afraid of it being wobbly or not sturdy enough, but it held together. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is that when you move the table tray up into position and try to lock it in place in the table position, it seems sketchy. That is the one component that came pre-built. It’s not smooth to move the tray from hanging to a table position, because you have to secure this little metal rod in a hole that locks this in the table position. And that metal lock seems a little wobbly along with the wood pieces that hold that lock in place, they don’t seem quite sturdy either. However, if you are considering, I would say buy it. I did lots of research around many different sites and exploring on Amazon too when I wanted to buy one, and this one was the best I found. And so far, it has been worth my money. When I have used this, I haven’t had any issues and it holds well! It looks great and I do really love the color and the wood look. My only concern is that metal rod that stabilizes the table in place, but maybe it’s just me, cause it hasn’t done anything to make me distrust it yet haha ... show more

This thing snapped in half within 20 seconds of putting a 30 pound grill on it. Holds up to 44 pounds? Nope! It also took a while to put together because the holes aren't drilled consistently and the bolts can't fit all the way in -- see other reviews for that. Aesthetically beautiful, but practically terrible. They probably shouldn't glue furniture grade wood to bear weight. This damaged my brand new grill. Thanks! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It was easy to assemble the table, and there was no smell. It is light to lift but seems sturdy for the price. The disappointment came from the flat washers. There were two pairs that were "glued" together. The instruction also didn't include the dimensions of these washers. It is easy to measure with a measuring tape but I would appreciate it that the manual could include the sizes. ... show more

Fantastic! Much better than I had anticipated. They look great, drastically increase the area I have for potted plants and for growing microgreens and sprouts. I was concerned they wouldn't fit my railing. No need to worry - they will fit over narrow railings as well as concrete walls equally well.
