I've purchased this fragrance from Walgreens all the time. Unfortunate for them, they discontinued the In- Style fragrance line. Fortunately for you, you are carrying it. It is subtle, not over powering. Doesn't smell fruity, soapy, or excessively perfumery. I give a couple of spritzes under my arms and a shot on the chest. That's it. You don't feel like "Pig Pen" from the Peanuts cartoons where the extensive smell surrounds you or others. It's the best Eau de Toilette, perfume to purchase at a great price. ... show more

It really does smell like RL romance, but definitely doesn't last as long. I do love it and use it every day though. I loved the price point as RL is nearly or over $100 at times. Worth it for something you wear daily and use the expensive stuff for those nights out.

The Ralph Lauren Romance scent smells near exactly like the original scent I had in '99/'00. The original lasted nearly 5 yrs as it wasn't my everyday scent. A bit of nostalgia prompted me to order this and it does not disappoint. It doesn't last all day of course but it's still going strong 5 hours later with minimal change once the scent "settles" into your own chemistry in the first 30 or so minutes. Will definitely purchase again. I wish I could say the same for the Chanel no5 scent. It arrived broken where the spray top attached to the glass, leaking perfume all over. It's unusable as a spray. The scent itself is much stronger than the original with an almost overpowering scent of clove oil. I can't detect any of the lighter notes. This could be because of the bottle damage so I can't give a completely accurate review. Based on my own experience with the original, this scent is not the same. It smells really nice it's reminiscent of the romance by Ralph Lauren. But my only problem with it is that it doesn't last even 10 minutes. I guess I got what I paid for.

I got the Romance by Ralph Lauren dupe, and it's excellent. It's my second time ordering a dupe of this perfume, last one I tried was the Perfect Scents version, but I like this one better, and it lasts longer. It is identical to the original classic Lauren scent, really juicy and good, and it lasts for hours! I sprayed it today about 9 hours ago, and I still smell it on me. I sprayed under my arms and on the back of my neck, one spritz each (3 total). This is a truly amazing product, I hope they don't 'change the formulation. It cost me around $14.00 (although they have raised the price and it's now over $30.00, so I will NOT be buying it). But if they bring the price back to what it was, I highly recommend it. 5 out of 5 ... show more

I’m very picky when it comes to dupes. Some tend to smell more like alcohol than scent. I haven’t had RL Romance in years. When I opened it up - boom a flood of memories. I didn’t spray it just sniffed it. I smelt it for hours! It lasts. I am very happy. Like the heavy glass bottle too. I’m going to try more! Great product - well worth it. ... show more
