While the extra monitors image quality is great when using this I have noticed that it starts to flick off and back on. The cord is dirty and obvious signs of wear, hence my suspicion that I was sent a used one.

I should have read more of the reviews before I purchased this adapter. The picture quality is good but there is basically no sound - it's so low you can't hear it. I tweaked everything I could and nothing worked. I unplugged one monitor from the adapter and ran it through my only HDMI port and the sound works like it did before.
