If you have ever built a deck, you have encountered deck boards that are not straight... and it can be difficult to snug them into position. For the past twenty years, I have used a BoWrench deck board straightening tool and it has worked great. However, occasionally even the BoWrench just can’t provide enough force to hold a badly curved board in place. While this Insaga board bender takes more time to use than the BoWrench, it does have some advantages... especially on those tough boards. It is simple to use and will work on single 2” x 4” joists or doubled joists. The construction of this product is solid... very heavy duty. While the BoWrench will be my regular tool, I will use this in conjunction with it on the really tough boards. There are also other uses I can envision for this tool.
