Love the case and size of the drone. It's super portable and good quality for the money. But, it's super, super fast and difficult to control, especially for a beginner. This is mainly due to the heightened sensitivity of the controller.

We bought this for my son. It is small and has been relatively durable for for the mishaps that have happened for someone learning how to fly. The app for the camera works, but when using the camera it drains the battery incredibly fast. In less than 5 minutes. So while it’s functional it’s not reasonable to use. That was the only drawback. I am extremely happy with this purchase! I was a little skeptical at first due to such a low price, but it is a fantastic mini drone, far better than I expected it to be. I purchased this just to play around with for me and my 8 year old daughter. I have never flown a drone before so I didn't know how complicated I expected it to be, but it came with a well written and easy to understand set of instructions and I was able to get it off the ground and proficiently flying with in less than 15 minutes. My daughter was even able to fly it around for a bit once she got the hang of the controls. The camera quality is also better than I would've expected for a device at this price point. I was able to connect it to my android phone with no issues and collect good quality stills and video. Overall, I would highly recommend this purchase for someone looking for a low-cost and fun drone for hobby use.     • Great for beginners or others who crash into things
This is my third drone. While I am getting better at flying, I am happy that this is such a sturdy little machine. It is too cold to go outside so I am practicing inside. Chairs, bookshelves, lights, and walls are all obstacles to be reckoned with. In my case usually unsuccessfully. Even without using the propeller guards, there is no damage and the thing keeps coming back for more. That brings up another big plus for this machine. After crashing it is just a matter pushing one lever to get it ready to fly again. On other drones I have, it is a big process sometimes even needing to start with wifi setup. Not here, really simple. This comes in a nice case and has everything you need, plus a couple spare parts, even includes aaa batteries for the controller. I wish I had started with this. Simple, sturdy, and reliable in in the hands of a 72 year old non techie type of dinosaur. ... show more

Beautiful drone, a lot of fun, especially when it gets out of control (I can’t really control it, it’s winter and there isn’t enough space) and crashes into something, you come up to look at the wreckage but no, it lies, ready to fly again True, we have already broken one protective leg, and soon we will have to change the propeller, they are slightly deformed upon impact and we have to straighten them It would be nice if the charge indicator was on batteries, it is often convenient to charge not with a cable in the kit, but with a charger from an old (micro USB) mobile phone, which I'm sure everyone has A question to the seller: is it possible to buy spare parts for this drone, such as batteries, propellers, etc ..... ... show more

Got this drone for my 11 year old, we have had several. It was easier to fly than some and my 7 year old was able to play with it as well. I feel like it has a longer charge than the other ones we have had which works well if multiple kids want to play with it on one charge.

My grandson LOVES this drone! He downloaded the app and easily figured out how to record video with it and also how to control the drone with the cell phone using the app (he’s ten years old). Only drawback is that if you have a bigger, older cell phone, it doesn’t fit into the phone holder on the drone as well as the newer, smaller phones. A big plus - the drone folds up easily to go back in the protective case for travel. Seems to have good range also. Great purchase - would definitely recommend!!
