Easy assembly, everything looks great, the color quality through hdmi isn’t as great as I hoped but hopefully will be better with DP! Screen is a nice size, very big compared to my laptop but fits well on my desk.

Would like to have ability to set the screen timeout. It goes into screensaver very quickly. It also doesn't seem to wake back up once you start working on your attached laptop. Overall nice monitor for the money!

This monitor is very nice, it's on the cusp of greatness featurewise, but for its size the resolution deals it a big blow. After running through a calibration wizard, the picture quality is very clean, the colors are great and the display in general impresses, but it's still only 1080p. At 27 inches, 1440p may be the bare minimum for good clarity. This, however, isn't a stake in its heart by any means. Up front there are some minor cons that may or may not be dealbreakers for you. -1080p maximum resolution -Extremely mediocre HDR support (more on this later) -Wobbly stand -Sits quite high on its lowest mount level -Super basic OSD controls -Extremely mediocre speakers It's a lot of little things, but they can add up. There are a fair number of pros too. -Extremely nice color reproduction -Excellent response times -No detectable input latency -Huge variety of refresh rates -FreeSync support -One finger raising and lowering stand Most further pros worth mentioning basically come down to "it is a monitor and it works". On the topic of HDR, it does support it and you can get an okay picture out of it, but the highlights are pretty weak, the color gamut DOES end up being excellent in supported apps. I recommend against it however mostly on account of PC's in general being bad at HDR. You essentially need to turn it on or off on a case by case basis and this means navigating the OSD to enable HDR mode, heading to your system settings to enable HDR, going into the game and enabling HDR, then reversing all of these actions after you're done playing as the general Windows experience with HDR enabled is abysmal. Not many games or programs have very good HDR support on PC in the first place. FreeSync was a bit difficult to get fully working, but once I did I was reasonably impressed, it really helps even out those janky framerates you might be seeing on games like Elden Ring. Nvidia cards CAN use it, it just says it doesn't know if the display actually supports it or not, but after running their Pendulum demo, it's clearly working. The wobbly stand is my biggest personal issue next to resolution, my desk isn't an oak bulwark or something, it's a bit wobbly, and that mixed with the stand results in the whole display wibbling around annoyingly when typing, though it hasn't been a huge issue in gaming since I'm not hammering both sides of the keyboard with so much frequency. I intend to mount it on an arm that's connected to a separate surface in the future I think. Some of the other settings like the 90 degree rotation capability of the stand don't really do a whole lot for me, but they do work. I do really like the adjustment option of being able to raise and lower it almost effortlessly, as I can lift it up to easily access my PC's rear ports with the current configuration on the desk, but for most people it probably won't be an absolute must-have feature. The sort of 'headliner' feature of curved display is a bit of a miss too though, it's a very shallow curve and honestly, you hardly notice it if you aren't standing to either side of it, which I suppose is a good thing, but I don't think it's a detail of any great value. At the end of the day, however, this monitor offers nothing that competing, better known names offer at much lower prices. The 200hz is almost certainly not necessary, though, it does widen the FreeSync support range, I still mostly run it at 144hz. This is a decent monitor, it has a lot of nice aspects, but I wouldn't get it at the current list price of $260, shop around.

The InnoView 27 Inch Gaming Monitor offers a bright and beautiful display. The setup is uncomplicated and it comes with a sturdy base and stand. The base and stand are solidly constructed and you are able to easily raise and lower the monitor, and adjust the viewing angle. It’s a very versatile setup but I wish you were able to lower the monitor another one to two inches. The lightning-fast refresh rate (200hz) means that games run smoothly with fewer tears and stutters- a definite advantage playing online where split-second decisions are the difference between wins and losses. The curved edges and aspect ratio also make this monitor great for streaming content. I watched some Netflix and was blown away by the bright and beautiful picture and how crisp and clean the subtitles were. One of the most impressive qualities of this monitor is the HDR (high dynamic range). Once you’ve set this on the monitor and compatible device (in my case a PS4) the contrast, saturation, and vividness in the graphics will blow you away. I've never owned an HDR monitor so I fired up some games I’d previously played and was surprised by how much new life had been breathed into them. The in-built audio is pretty dynamic- good for games and streaming. Overall, this is an absolutely amazing monitor that offers a lot of versatility for gaming and watching content.
