This comforter really keeps the heat in. It’s beautiful and matches my bedroom scheme. It’s a bit stiff and a little scratchy even after several washes but I use a bed sheet and it makes it perfect. For reference I have the king/ cali king and it can be difficult to wash in a regular washing machine. I’ve had to take it the first few times to the laundry mat. I bought this comforter on 12/20/25 and washed it once. The material is not soft, but I loved textures and it looked nice on my bed. I realized yesterday it was already torn at an area where the textured material joined the non textured material. It’s very thick and warm for the winter, but not comfortable and difficult to wash in the washing machine due to how bulky it is. It’s too late to return it, so I wasted money on this. I almost didn't get this comforter because of all the negative reviews. However, I took a risk with the mindset that if I didn't like it I could always return it. No stains, no harsh smell, no ink. It was quite fuzzy, I still get fuzz on my clothes when I brush against it in the morning, but the diamond fuzzes didn't pull out as easily as some reviews said they would. I pulled on them immediately after opening the comforter and nothing came out, and I tugged hard. The colors are more of a cream and off-white, I wouldn't call it yellow though, just cream. The criss cross brown pattern does have some red dots in it, intentionally, which I found charming. I also didn't have an issue with the lines being uncentered. There were 8 on each side, so the pattern was centered. This blanket IS warm, so if you live somewhere hot definitely only get it as a "for show" comforter. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. 10/10 recommend. ... show more
