This is a must have for busy parents. Even after 8+ months it is still as good as new. The straps are adjustable, the swinging has 5 speeds so it is perfect for even 1yo. My daughter who is 2.5y also uses it sometimes now that we don’t depend on it for the baby, and she falls asleep in it, but the swinging is not strong but it is not recommended for her weight anyways. Honestly I was skeptical on buying because of the other reviews, but I love this swing. It came undamaged, was easy to put together and works great. Its extremely quiet on the motion, so thats great. It moves exactly how I want it to. And my baby just loves it. 10/10 recommend.

Bought the swing in January on a deal for our baby we were expecting in April, we've been able to use it a few times and now the music and light feature has stopped working. When working it was a good product but with not even having it "working" for less than 3 months I would not recommend.

If I could rate 4.5 stars I would. The only annoying thing is that even when the timer is on for 60 or 90 minutes, the music will cut off after about 20-30 minutes. (The light and swing keep going.) Even more annoying is when you try to turn the music back on to keep baby asleep, it doesn’t start back on the song/sound that it was on before. So if you were playing a soothing lullaby before and it kicks off, when you turn it back on, it might be a louder song or white noise, some sounds are louder than others. So instead we often use the hatch portable sound machine with this because it never kicks off unless the battery dies, and turns on the same sound you left off. Other than that! This is a good quality swing. Would definitely recommend for a newborn. Our baby loves the spinny light part. She is very alert and gets bored easy. A little difficult to put together some of the pieces look too similar in the instructions and it took the two of us about an hour to put together. ... show more

Im giving this swing 5 stars! I purchased i different swing a few months ago for when my LO arrived. I had no intentions on having a preemie however it happened and he ended up being smaller than expected! Due to that I think the style of the last swing was really inconvinet and its how most swings come these days! Which also sucks because in my opinion they have a jerking/jolting like motion which is NOT good for baby's head! Therefore I decided on buying an "old school" swing. You can barely find ones like this anymore however I came this when trying to find one and let me tell you how much more BETTER this is for my baby! I love the fact you can adjust how you would like your baby to sit as far as the recliner goes! My baby loves white noise and it has that as one of the sound options which is so perfect and the fact it has the rotating toys and light show and mirror above is even MORE perfect for baby when he is awake and alert just looking around! If you are looking to buy a swing for your baby I would stop looking right here and buy this one! Its also for a GREAT price. ... show more
