We get this swing for her and she likes it alot better as it goes back and forth and not side to side. It is light weight, easy to put together, portable and easy storage when baby is not in it. It's light weight and small so when the baby is sleeping, I can carry the whole swing upstairs or down stairs with out waking him up. So this is nice when I am doing things around the house and can just bring him every where I go. What I don't like is it is constantly shutting off. It's pretty annoying, every time I check on him the electrical part is shut off and not swinging anymore. ... show more

    • Good quality and perfect for small spaces
LOVE that it can plug into a wall or run on batteries. And you don't have to have the batteries in to use the wall power. It's amazing for small spaces, or if you just don't want your house taken over by baby items. I also love it because it folds so easily and I can hold baby and fold and carry it with the other hand (takes a bit of skill but totally doable). This is great so I can take it outside so baby has a place while the big kids are playing and I can supervise. We have had to wash the cloth seat at least once a week, and three months in, it still looks great. With a single click I can slide the top of it off the bar, and then it just pulls off the bottom of the bar and goes in the washer. I do air dry it, but it's been great. This is our last child, but I wish we had this for all of them. We already have other family members asking for it because of how convenient it is. For the price it can't be beat. ... show more

This is our second swing. I had bought our first swing second-hand and loved it. Since then, the first swing had an issue with the power cord so I purchased the same swing new. The new Ingenuity swing has an updated power cord which is a USB connection ( DOES NOT COME WITH USB ADAPTER! ) and the five-point buckle is easier to get to, to use to buckle your babe into the swing. The swing‘s a fabric material. It’s soft and durable and DOES clean up very well!!! (I’ve washed in the washing machine!) I recommend purchasing the Ingenuity compact lightweight portable swing for the versatility, durability, option of using the power cord or battery, easy to assemble (screwdriver needed), and the bang for your buck!!! If you’re looking for a portable swing you only use a couple times this is it. If you’re looking to save money on a bigger more reliable swing pass this up. This doesn’t swing that well, the noise button broke after a few uses, and it’s just overall pretty cheap. If you’re a grandparent or aunt/uncle this might be better at your house for the baby visits but wouldn’t purchase as a parent for regular use. ... show more
