After 2 kids this is one of my favorite items! If I were to make a list of top 20 things to get when having a baby this is on that list! My only regret is buying other things first that weren't as good. why I love this: 1) works like a bumbo for early stages of learning to sit. the seat is soft and squishy for comfort. Has proper safety seat belts. 2) wide leg position! if you have ever had a baby with chunky legs in a traditional bumbo seat or something similar then you will appreciate that these openings are MUCH wider. Even the cutest, chunkiest baby legs have comfort space. 3) lightweight and easily portable. I've tossed this in the trunk for a day at Grandma's with no fuss. 4) Very washable 5) It does have buckles that can secure the seat safely to a chair if desired but also has a handy storage place under the seat if you don't want to use them. 6) The tray is great for snacks or fun and also easily tucked away when not in use. 7) the 'grow with you' feature is true to it's description. I used this with my 4 month old (learning to sit as previously discussed) but also the soft seat easily came out and made a nice booster seat for my toddler. 8) very cost effective for all that it does! the bumbo seat comparable feature alone is cheaper (bumbos running at 50 retail, 40 with store coupons etc). Then kiddos grow out of bumbo (which BTW don't come with the tray it's separate for $10 more) and then they still need a high chair of sorts later on. Further on they get in that "i'm too big for a high chair" phase in which you find yourself buying a booster seat. I only wish I hadn't bought the $130 Chicco high chair or a bumbo seat in the past. Pros: Easy to clean Attaches to chair or sits by itself on the floor Small size can easily travel Cons Small tray Hard to buckle and unbuckle. We bought this to replace our full size high chair that we’ve had for almost 7 years. I’d finally tired of stubbing my toes and scooting around our old chair, and machine washing a seat cover, that I decided to look for something new. This caught my eye because of its compact size and wipeable seat. I really wanted something that could fit the tray at the table, but I couldn’t find anything. The fact that this tray stores under the seat was a great compromise. We can keep the seat attached to the chair and push it in, without the tray. Our son is 6 months old and has pretty good head control, but there is not a lot of support otherwise. He is kind of chunky, 98% weight. He fits in the seat fine, but getting the buckle to stay out of the way, and then fastening it can be somewhat difficult, especially for those with larger fingers. We also have a bumbo with a tray, but don’t like that it only works on the floor. Had this been around 7 years ago when we had our first, we wouldn’t have bought all that other stuff! It takes the place of a floor seat, a travel high chair and a regular high chair. ... show more

LOVE this seat. I purchased it to replace the Bumbo seat and tray that I had received at our shower. I first tried it out at my mothers and fell in love with it right away. First off, it has a holder for the tray right under the seat. I have more baby gear around that I know what to do with, so any sort of storage is amazing. The Bumbo has a tray that comes apart in two pieces that you have to remove, clean and find a place for every time. Not to mention that it’s a huge pain to put on. Second, the leg space on the chair is nice and spacious with out being too large. My son is 4 months old and sits up in it just fine. I would literally have to yank the Bumbo off of his legs. It was ridiculous. Now I can just take the tray off, wash it, and slide it into place under the seat. Third, it doubles as a booster seat so when my boy gets bigger, I can take it with me to restaurants or other people’s homes. The back rest comes off, and get this, has a storage place for it under the seat! It’s super practical, easy to clean, and way easier to use than the Bumbo. I’m so happy my mom had one of these. Wow! This baby booster seat is a solid 5 stars! No regrets in getting this at all. I have a 7 month old baby, weighing about 21 pounds now. She fits so snug in this seat with the liner. There's so many great things about this booster. The lining (colored part) is removable (made of styrofoam). The tray is detachable and the best part about it is that it can be stored at the bottom of the seat if you decide not to use it! The tray also has a built in cup holder (for a little tray, that's kind of amazing). The tray is also easy to clean. This booster comes with a hidden compartment that can store the buckle strap (for chairs). The only tiny complaint I have is that sometimes the tray is hard to remove once attached. Only because of the mechanism, but that's a minor issue (with some practice, may be able to remove tray quicker). This booster differs from the older version in that this one has a closed bottom, more sturdier. This booster is also pretty light, easy for travels and to take with you anywhere! Parents, get this seat! Also has many different color options. This seat seems better than the Bumbo (their tray is not easy to wash/clean. Water seeps into their tray underneath). ... show more
