The thing about Chucks is, they are inexpensive and they are stylish. What they are not however is comfortable. I wouldn't for example wear them for my daily run. But I do wear them for working out in a more stationary capacity, such as strength training. These shoes offer nice grip on most surfaces dry or wet, however they are completely flat; hence the comfort issue. I might even suggest some cushioned soles for arch support. All that said, I will be getting these exact shoes in other colors. Just a note, mine did not come with extra laces as advertised so I *should* by all rights dock them a point for that. On the other hand, the laces for these shoes are the cheapest of the cheap so it's not that big of a deal since I am otherwise completely satisfied. And a final note, as others have recommended: get 1 size smaller than your normal shoe size. I am normally a 12; I got an 11 in these and they fit perfectly.

I got my pair a full size smaller and they are the hardest things to put on. Once I get them on they fit perfect. No left over room at all and they're not too small. If you don't mind having to struggle to get them on, go with the full size smaller. Other than that, they are perfect. (KEEP IN MIND THIS IS FOR A MALE SIZE 12 AND I GOT A SIZE 11). Overall a really good set of shoes.

My son has worn this brand for the last five years or so, they are the only casual shoes he wears, so he wears them out fast. Having said that they still last him the best part of a year most of the time. They look nice with jeans and work well for him. I have tried wearing a pair, I don't like the low back.

Not terrible, I still like my Converse tennies, but they just aren't that comfortable as was in past. I remember putting them on and feeling like you had springs in your feet, not anymore. I can't wear them for long, there's a persistant rub near my big toes, fit is great otherwise, but maybe too narrow for my feet in the long run. Good looking shoe, but lacks in comfort.

Purchased these Chuck's for my boyfriend for Christmas this year, in size 11. They were definitely a bit too large, so I am returning for a 10.5. Aside from that these shoes are sick. I mean I always love a good Chuck - have four pairs myself - but these are definitely a classic. When the new ones arrive I know he'll be rockin' them with a pair of dark wash jeans (cuffs rolled of course) and either a t-shirt or an oxford - maybe even a sweater vest - which is his thing. Chuck's are like GPS for the fashion misguided and a unifier of the masses. Buy them in every color!!!!!!!!

Leaving a 5 star even though I never received them in the mail (I found and bought a pair at a local shop). They were damaged in shipping and were sent back. I received a full refund for the product albeit I was not notified until a week after the fact they were returned. This is Amazon's problem and not the shoes. Great pair of shoes but the canvas material is thin and can leave your feet cold if you aren't wearing a nice pair of thick socks.

I used to wear these shoes until my feet came through the soles. So cheaply made now they tore putting them on after only 2 months. No problem I figured, I'll just get a replacement from Converse. NO WARRANTY! The referred me back to Amazon but I can't return because I'm past 30 days. What a waste of money.
