I’ve had this for about a year now and I love it! Would highly recommend buying it. Just know that if you’re gonna put plants in it, you’ll need a tray at the bottom so the basket doesn’t get moldy. This is obvious if you’re a good plant parent though. Great for laundry and/or blankets as well.

Review after just short of 1 year of use (10.5 months) I was looking for a new laundry holder. In the past I primarily used either a wicker basket or a fabric-mesh bag to consolidate and carry my laundry. While they worked fine I wanted to use something that was more pliable than a wicker basket, making it easier to care, but more sturdy and visually appealing compared to a mesh bag. Having a sack of clothes in the corner of the room didn't look great. After about a year of use I am pretty happy with the basket. It was exactly what I was looking for if only a little small for laundry use by an adult. 1 set of sheets or a full week of clothing and the basket if full if not towering. A common critique in other reviews is that the free standing basket without being at least partially filled will not hold it's shape. That is somewhat true, but needs a better explanation. Since the basket is made of woven cotton rope the unit will natural be pliable. There is no ridged interior panels or framing. As with many materials the constant compression and stress on the basket will make it lose some of its initial flat sidedness....that's not a word, but you get what I mean. I did not see this as a negative because I was expecting it. I mean when the unit was delivered it was flattened and I needed shape it back into a basket. Change in Size: After the year of use the basket has stretched slightly and compressed vertically to 14.5" x 13.5" x 15.5". NOTE: Basket dimensions are accurate to the inside space. Measurements (width "A" x width "B" x Height) 14.2" x 13.4" x 16.2" are from the inside, not the outside, of the basket. The rope thickness is not included in the measurements, approx. 5/16" in gauge rope. - I would suggest the larger 17.8 x 15.8 x 13.8 if you are an adult looking for a laundry basket (The difference between the top and bottom diameter of this basket is larger that of the basket this review is for. CON: Color was different than shown in photo, slightly lighter color than expected. Smaller than expected. Is better suited for Baby or Child laundry, or other storage use. Some compression of the baskets bottom 1/3 are almost 1 year of use (see photos) ... show more

The basket looks the same as what I ordered but it is not an INDRESSME, but rather a GOODPICK that is sold for less, and the bottom is gray where as the INDRESSME photo at Amazon shows it black (which is why I choose it.
