The stockings had a run right out of the package. I put them on for the first time and there was a huge run in the thigh of one leg. I had not snagged the hose or anything that would have caused a run. I took them directly from the package and put them on. I had to throw them away without even wearing them once. Well not quite forever, but a long time. They are thick and semi opaque, but they don't make me feel hot when the weather is scorching. They are super easy to put on because they are so stretchy. I am too old to engage in gymnastics when I put on a pair of pantyhose, and it's not necessary with these. I am a very white woman, so the nude color works fine for me. You might want to order a darker shade if your ancestry is from anywhere other than Gaelic countries. These might be a little more expensive than other brands, but they last so long that it's worth it. I know the instructions say to wash by hand, but I put them in the washer on delicate cycle and then air dry them. It seems to work well. ... show more

WAYY too small. I’m 5’6 and got the medium size. I wore them at work for just 5 hours and they pulled so tight on my toes that my toenails hurt. NOT TRUE TO SIZE!!! However they are very rip resistant. I have sharp stiletto nails and my nails don’t cut through them at all. I also wish they were more sheer but I guess beggars can’t be choosers ... show more

They worked perfectly! My nails were frayed but they didn't tear my hosiery. The sheen on them made them look silky. They run small, so get the next size up. I'd definitely purchase these again.
